I felt like I was gonna puke for a little bit but it passed. Color was SO bright even more then LSD it seemed. I took a nice walk because the trip was calling for it. I knew I had to be outside. I saw a deer and I felt like we were on the same wave length. I just felt so in tune with everything around me. The visuals were not as strong (but there were some heavy ones at points it went in waves) as LSD but mentally I had so much going on.

I took 500 mg and might even try more next time. But another part of me says "no that was the perfect dose".

My son and I rolled today - Mother's Day - at something called Flagging in the Park (Golden Gate, in the AIDS Memorial Grove). There were flow artists of several kinds. Most people there were gay, though not all. It was really good scene. Mother's Day came at the two month mark since my wife/my son's mother passed away. So it was an especially meaningful gathering for us. By our blanket we had a nice little shrine set up for her - her photo and her "Haight Street" Hello Kitty on a little pink cloth. I didn't see any other altars or shrines and there wasn't one at the DJ table. Maybe it's more a hippie thing or maybe the whole Memorial Grove is a shrine.

But check this out. A guy probably in his 50s comes over to us and says "Happy Mother's Day. I'd like to do a dance for you" (he's got flags which are pieces of fabric in various designs and so on). Then he noticed our little shrine, and asks my son if that's his mother and he says yes. Things got serious and the guy asked for her name and my son told him. And the guy does this far-out blessing dance, speaking a beautiful blessing while he dances and then he kind of swooped away.

The DJs were okay - more like party music I guess, and we danced a little. But mostly it was the empathogenic effects. We were just sitting there, side by side, pressed against one another. It was good. We have a deep connection anyway and both work hard to be current, so it wasn't like seeing for the first time or whatever. It was just good. We've grieved hard these past two months and today kind of said we've come a ways, neither of us is as sad as before, even on a day like today.

We each took one cap. It seems like one and a half would be about right.

that must have been an awesome experience to share with your son. is this the first time you have rolled or tripped with him?

i've thought about trying to ask my dad to take LSD with me, but i've decided that it would most likely not end well. i am pretty sure he used to trip back in the 70s, but also pretty sure he wouldn't be open to the idea now. in a somewhat related note, i'm listening to his favorite band right now - blue oyster cult.
my best bet would be getting my older cousin to trip. he's mentioned taking acid in his youth, and he actually mentioned wanting to trip with me, my brother and maybe my dad, but didn't really follow through. maybe i could do that with just him though.

the other day at the bicycle shop i go to, the owner (a guy in his 50s or 60s) started talking about college education, how he didn't do anything with his degree. so i said something like "oh, but college is a great experience anyways" and he said "yeah, and i did a lot of LSD :)"
i should have came up with a better response like "wanna do some more?" but instead i said "ohhhh, haha, that must be why you're so interesting to talk to!"

^ It was the first time. Re your Dad: as you know, there are many mainstream articles out there - psyches at the end of life and other times; MDMA for PTSD, cannabis for PTSD, pain, etc. Lots of good discussion initiators.

i think his aversion to tripping with me would have more to do with not trying to condone my drug use

It was. I had a lot to work through and so did my gf, she had the same length of break from psychs and maybe even more to work through. we realized halfway through we made a very, very smart decision to not take lucy lol. The trip was surprisingly philosophical for 2c-b but that was because she happened to be going through a kind of personal awakening with regards to nature of self, free will, boundary between I and not I, etc. the trip really helped bring her to the edge and let her feel out the finer points. funny because i went through the same awakening when i was about her exact age (im a little older than her), regarding the exact same topics.

the sex was phenomenal. it was technically 45mg 2c-b and 5mg cialis combo ;) that shit is so great. In case you don't know what it is, Viagra lasts ~4 hours, Cialis lasts ~72 hours. your shit will be raw for days lolol.

don't need to have any 'issues' to enjoy boner pills. even if you think you have a perfect 100% stiffy, these pills will give you a 200% stiffy, no questions asked.

I've never taken a "boner" pill but you are the second person to mention them recently. It makes me wonder.

Wow, two years? I had no idea you hadn't tripped in that long. Any reason or was it because of all the stuff that had built up that you needed to work thru?

My last trip was almost exactly a year ago, although I had a small amount of mushrooms about 11 months ago at Red Rocks.

    damn, i really thought i made a post about 45 mg 2c-b. but i don't see it....

i was basically saying that although ~45 mg 2c-b is certainly a high dose, i wouldn't necessarily call it "intense." in my trip report when i dosed 43.8 mg, i used adjectives like "gentle, soft, and fluffy" even though it WAS quite a strong trip.

writer, why exactly were you glad to have not taken lucy? too much mental stuff to work through? isn't lucy supposed to be good for that?
i've taken acid before and realized during the trip that it probably wasn't the best idea to take acid on that particular day...so i guess i know what you mean.

We were mentally prepared for lucy but our setting, a hotel room that we had grown fond of, had fallen into disrepair over the years, a fact we only discovered upon checking into it. It was a little too smelly and dirty for our liking and would have been a source of discomfort during the long lucy excursion.

We had decided to save it for a more ideal setting.

2c-b is nowhere near the intensity of a high dose almost-anything-else, but after a two year break, it was a good choice for the return to the psychedelic headspace.

I hadn't tripped for that long because I was in a condensed college program.

took two blotters and had a grand old time riding my bike around the park, the cemetery, and the river trail. spent almost two hours doing that, and took frequent breaks to sit up against a tree or lay in the grass. a couple hours after getting home, i realized i lost my very tiny mp3 player! i was devastated, and probably didn't handle the situation any better due to tripping face.

but the next morning i retraced my steps for about an hour and a half and found it lying on the ground in the war memorial section of the cemetery. i was pumped!

didn't a similar thing happen to you, guerillabedlam?
i think you may have lost your mp3 player in the woods and found it the next day.

there's a lot more to say about my trip, but i don't have the time right now.

Good to hear it went well, pork!

I definitely had a similar experience when I was tripping on 28mg 2C-E in a foresty area. When my girlfriend and I were walking back to leave during sunset, I noticed I lost my e-cigarette. I hadn't had it for long and my girlfriend was the one who bought it for me! I am one who takes very nice care of their things and never lose any pricey items. I was trying to retrace my steps but it was getting dark fast so I couldn't see that well. Fortunately I didn't have to search long until I saw metallic shining in the grass. What a big feeling of relief it was. It must've jumped out of my pocket when I was jumping with my knees high trying to get through the tall grasses.
I'd be much more sad if I lost my iPod though. Glad you found yours!

I lost my mp3 player when I accidently dosed 15 hits :) found it the next day, basically walked right into it, in the middle of a big forest, pretty wild. Common theme it seems :D

I need a trip! Lately I feel like I've been absorbed a lot by my systematic brain processes just thinking about work, school, food, and the same thoughts about my relationships. It feels like I haven't been challenging my thoughts and ideals or flacking that connection on a spiritual level. Feels like I need a refresher to think more abstractly and remember what life's all about. I've been happy but sometimes I just get down because I'm just going through the same motions.
