I was simply trying to be polite and not disrupt the normal flow of conversations here in this thread. Some folks our new who come in here and they are shy. Folks just want to talk about there stuff here, and I didn't wish to Overwhelm this House space with some other type of flow. That's why I set the party space to be the old commune space.

I wanna say something about the factor stress in our life..I believe it's a killer..but..we all suffer from it somehow at times..
what's the meaning of being happy/unhappy?is it the eternal circle of good/bad,beautiful:ugly,harmony/disharmony?
let's open a discussion about it...why we go through stress,feel stress?or cannot get rid of it?
I had to deal with lots of stress in my lifetime==just daily life,my work at the coalmine where I did not know?
which job I had to do daily,because it was different every nightshift...but..it was an adventure... :dizzy2:

Hello everyone!

Sorry I've been absent lately and neglecting you guys, school has kept me very busy! I get myself so stressed about because the school system I'm in just isn't working for me, but I don't have a lot of other options available. I've really started to think about dropping out for the rest of the year while I figure out what I want to do with myself and my life while working, then go back and get my GED (graduate's equivalent degree). I used to be a perfect student but right now my grades are all pretty bad- not from a lack of effort on my part, but this system just isn't quite clicking with me or effectively teaching me. Not sure what I'm going to do there, but I'm definitely needing to find a solution because it's really bringing me down, and negativity just isn't my thing. What's the education system like where you all are from?

Otherwise, things have been pretty good. I'm getting my first two tattoos done tomorrow (shh, don't tell my mom!) and I'm really excited! I'm getting the paw print of my dog who passed away in 2012 on my thigh, and then a dime-sized Peace sign on my wrist. After that, I'm planning to get LOTS more as I get the money for them. I love body art Do any of you guys have tattoos?


So that's a catch-up on my life....what about everyone else? What's been going on lately?

 

I was ill over the weekend, still have a bit of a sniffle. Completely missed the shindig

 

Real house now has hot and cold running water where it should.... That was a huge job.
