What's Happening???

It's just autumn weather here. So since there's no chance on winter I could do with some 20C afternoons now

 

It is snowing here atm.

 

Short crazy Story's

 

I am trying not to go crazy.

 

Lol I think the weather here is having a case of the Mondays.

Snow, rain, hail, wind.. What else do you want.

 

Yeah. I'm not looking forward to all the bugs that come out in spring and especially summer. I suppose my attitude will change by the end of March.

 

By this time tomorrow, I will be hanging out in the jungle in Belize. 4 days in the jungle and then 4 days on the island.

My son gave me some rubber fish flip flops as kind of a gag-gift a couple of years ago. My wife and kids hate them. I like them and they are comfortable so I wear them in the summer. They groan and roll their eyes and say they won't be seen in public with me.....just before being seen in public with me. My son once said "I didn't really mean for him to like them....I should have known better!" Anyway, I didn't tell anyone but I packed them to take with me tomorrow. This should be fun.

And I think it drives my wife crazy that she is so organized and has everything planned out, etc. and our daughter and I are more like....eh...no reason to worry....everything will be ok. That goes all the way back to when we were younger and I used to go see GD and Phish shows all over the place for a few years before we got together. Then she wanted to come with me and that was great. But she would want to plan everything out and she'd get frustrated with me and be like.....how are you just leaving and going to 5 states for the next 12 days and you don't know where we're going to stay or eat......etc." I'm throwing clothes in a bag 15 minutes before we need to hit the road and telling her that we just need to not lose our tickets or our money and everything else will work itself out. But then she got a little more used to it and mellowed a bit....because it always does work out somehow. We never died or went hungry and we always had fun.

 

What are we going to hunt?

 

We have wild pesky vermin goats on our property.

Well I hope it’s better than that garbage they put out back in 1989 which decimated my favorite Stephen King novel of all-time

 

Umm a big ass family farm! I'm not even sure. But it's big, plus the neighbour also allows us to shoot the goats on his property too. They ruin our fences etc. And then steal the farm food.

Last week I took down 3 goats in one session with a iron site 30-30 lever action I just bought.
