Doesn't surprise me, some people put out books left right and centre.

Walked 10.2 miles Friday through ditches and random rocks and glass at one point. All in the dark where I can't see what I'm stepping on. Got a hundred feet from my sister's apartment in a decently lit parking lot and rolled my ankle on a driveway entrance.
Had hockey today was worried that my ankle would stop me....nope. it was my legs being sore from walking 10 miles plus all my Xmas shopping at stores and malls that make me barely able to walk to the kitchen for a drink.

Not yet set foot on norwegian soil.. But hey, they did here :D Gonna return the favor some time soon though! ;)

Black Pete belongs to the feast of saint Nicolas, which is celebrated on 5 december (his deathday). Celebrating/honouring the life of a saint on his deathday is a common catholic practice. Since most of the Netherlands rigorously removed all catholic traditions when they committed to calvinist protestantism its really quite curious the feast of saint Nicolas stayed on, and is even seen as mainly dutch (which is generally protestant as fuck :p)
