oz is the only place on the planet that i know of that does not have some form of cat indiginous to it. and it did have a sort of indiginous dog/fox-like marsupial the held the cat niche in its environment that became extinct sometime before it was invaded by non-indiginous humans. i'll check and see if i haven't already endorsed it. invasive species? sheep, cattle, bunny rabbits ... humans of european ancestry ... and those are just the megafauna.

You forgot the Camel. Camels were taken to Australia to enable the exploration of Western Australia. Some of them escaped and now there is a 'wild' herd of camel roaming the land.
