thank you! you would appreciate before i had dreads on (or when i poke all the curls out the bottom of a hat). got a crown of thorn thing going on with all them curly Qs
.....carp on your neck? Are you trying to be mistaken for yakuza or something? You could have at least put it lower, so you can hide it. I like it, but it looks very badly placed.
its centered around the top ball of my spine. it is placed perfectly. Its pisces fish in the form of a yin yang. if i cared about them being visible my hands and arms wouldnt be covered already - i dont think anyone in mesa AZ is going to think im ya kuza.
you look like the guy from placebo? you've either heard that loads or never heard it and I'm just weird... nice hair!
no i have never been told i look like him but he is super ffreaking hot so ill take that as a compliment, thanks!
heres pics im turning 20 on friday thread name is kind of out dated now. x] i have been completely natural just twisting them for the past few months washing weekly / bi weekly
>completely natural >just twisting =p I'm just sure the twisting is really going to make much difference to Caucasian hair... but if it keeps your hands busy! They're coming along now.
i consider productless dreads natural. neglect is another story. i have been twisting them clockwise since about 2 inches of hair, that added to my already very curly hair is what gives them the curled effect. i know you all have strong feelings for the semantics of dreading - which i find ironic because having dreads is SUPPOSED to be all about doing your own thing. but i assure you i know whats best for them thanks for the inspiration as always.
I dont have typical smooth thin white people hair. i have thick Irish hair and it gets nappy when it dries out. i twist and separate to ensure they all go the same direction and flow evenly. the hairs rubbing up against each other when i twist them helps for locking too. when i twist loose hairs in, they end up twisting around the dread, which keeps them on the dread they need to be locked into.
how old are they now? i guess it must work but it just seems like it'd be counter-productive as you pull the hairs more straight when you twist, but each to their own, might just take a bit longer
