Okay Spock, I understand that Vulcan philosophy requires you to ignore all emotion, and concentrate solely on logic.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the topic deals with religion. I was under the impression that faith would be a requirment if I wished to participate.

    Hmm...all interesting facts here.

I am a Greek Orthodox when it comes to my religious beliefs, but I am not very religious at all. I used to be, but I just sort of dropped it all a while ago. My Christmas comes around on January 7th each year. Easter is that one holiday that falls on the first Sunday of April, and that's the one for which the date has not been set in stone.

Now I only wonder if I was to put that which this movie says to the ultimate test, I would be watching the sun's position in the sky on both Dec. 22-25th and Jan. 4-7th, and see what happens.

Keep in mind that eastern religions were based on a different calendar.

As far as the rest of the movie goes, I'd have to say that was mindblowing especially about the DEEP conspiracy of the Central Bank...in debt to itself and the people...We are all but pawns in this dictatorship, and we need to wake ourselves up and see this deception for what it REALLY is.

As far as 9/11 goes...nothing really new has been covered in this movies that hasnt been touched upon by others such as the Loose Change.

Christianity is the most ecclectic religion on the planet to date. They basically took all the most brilliant tactics of these writers of mythologies and put them together. Something to this nature was told outright to a class I was attending from a biblical historian/megachurch preacher. How this man lived with himself day to day I hope I never have to find out. Anyways aside from the flash copollaesque beginning i found this to be informative. I especially liked the beginning: Part 1. I couldn't help but feel that Jordan Maxwell had some part or at least a drastic influence on the first part. Then A little while later there's a shot of him saying something brief. And the banking empire stuff was intriguing, especially when you don't narrow it down to strictly being the Rothschild family pulling the strings. Also I had compared communism to terrorism countless times, but for some dumb reason I always thought of it in respect to McCarthyism, the Cold War, and all the stuff about it stateside. I forgot about Hitler's use of anticommunist sentiment. The film itself is about as original as it depicts christianity. It ties Jordan Maxwell's lectures and ideas with a lot of Alex Jones' material, all packaged together with the professionalism and attention to detail only the kids from Loose Change could Muster. I think it's pretty well condensed for American consumption along with kind of telling the world how it, is was and could possibly be in the future. These are things people need to know and Zeitgeist is very digestable granted you're not a religous nutjob who is afraid to get past that first part.

So when A Priest, clergyman/rightwing fundamentalist leader etc. defiles an altarboy, child, etc. Cain made him do it. Then when the Church buys him out of it and moves him to a different diocese where more fresh prey await that's Cain too? But if any of us do it the devil made us do it right? You archaic minded wierdos have spun a web of lies so thick you'll never find your way out. First your bestseller comes along and dooms me to hell as a child, next thing I know some other divinely inspired assholes went and wrote the catechism to fill the exponentially widening loopholes (and fulfill sadistic needs of the inquisition). This reassures me that the Bible isn't complete rubbish to be used be those in authority to control the weak, and that I'm going to hell still. Revisions were made. Yet still to this day your kind is still spinning bullshit stories whenever your mythologies are debunkt. Do you even know why you do it? Is it because you're afraid of change, letting go of your imaginary friend and standing on your own and eventually die. Or are you one of those who exploits the weak and their fears and hopes. I see you at night huddled over the "Good Book" praying to a God you don't even believe in to find a misinterpretation or ambiguation you can use to push forth your agenda this week. I feel sorry for you either way. But I feel sorrier for those who have to live side by side with you by no fault of their own and listen to you go on about how God let the Jews bury dinosaur bones to test our faith. Your "faith" is based on a pathological lie. Are you that invested in the ride So politely get your soapbox and collection plate and find a different block to sell your mental snake oil and opium. In short "Don't sell crazy here. We're all stocked up"

Amazing movie. My boyfriend (at the time a close friend) showed it to me and my ex (who was my boyfriend at the time). My ex was extremely religious, and it just scared him. It really made me think... so much so that I began talking with him, we learned we had very similar views, and then...
    we've been dating three months!
