Miserable, indeed. The program lasts at least 10 months, and yes I'll be living there. No tv, no cigarettes, no internet. It's gonna be shitty, but it's whatever.
I don't think work is mandatory, but it doesn't matter. I'd like to have a job to keep myself busy. Plus, it's a christian program, which sucks, but they have different activities to do, so I'll probably be pretty busy anyway. The place is located in Northeast GA, not too far from my home.
Being close to home will not only make the transition period easier, but the whole thing. I think so, anyway. The fam is a huge link in your support chain. Being able to have a job while you're there will be great. Stack that paper and put in 10 months at a spot so you are working when you get out, too.
The only problem is that I won't be allowed to have any contact with friends or family for the first 60 days. Yeah the job will be cool, because I'll have no choice but to save my money. They make you give most of your money to them and they keep it until you leave and then give it all back to you.
Ah fuck, that sucks man. Those first 60 days are gonna be fucking hectic... Seems the first 60 days would be very important as far as contact with family goes, psychologically of course. That's cool the way they help you save money. Hopefully they have some good food.
Yeah they should let people talk to there family and shit for the first 60 days, so as to keep morale up and whatnot. They better have good food. If they don't, I'm getting the fuck out. I won't have drugs, cigs, or tv, so food is all I'll have to look forward to. lol
Yeah dude, totally. I am confident you will make the best of this and come out of with a greater advantage than before.
