HF folks have always been telling me how I should be careful with what I say or else the German Government will come and arrest me. Yeah well I'm still here.
I have no idea, never been arrested. Though my lawyer would definitely get me out of trouble. "judge and jury, we can see, from 8 years of posts on the HF that this woman is seriously not right in the head, I move the notion to guilty with time served in her town where nobody has to read it" Lol.
It's planned maintenance guys. Everything is under control. We don't know whose control, but everything is under control.
I don't get what people do on youtube. Like, how do you fill your time with Youtube? Sometimes, I will put videos up in the background while I am cleaning or cooking so that I have something to listen to, but other than that, I almost never use it.
It's got a fairly large selection of music, documentaries, lectures, reviews, podcasts, news, tutorials, movie clips (movies) available on it.
Yeah, I know that much. But I know people who watch it daily, for hours. I guess I use it as a tool. Like oh, I need to figure out how to pop this dent out of my car or fix my sink--youtube! Boom, 5 minute video, and it's over.
I dont ever really watch youtube but I listen. I listen to all my music almost exclusively on YouTube. Podcasts. Etc.
OMG Recipes, make up tips, social commentary, streaming music, obscure documentary films, sports highlights, old news broadcasts, fashion ideas, reviews of shops, restaurants, bars, etc. in your area; movie reviews; album reviews; interviews; full-length movies; commercials for toys you grew up with; educational videos; travelogues; surf techniques; board reviews; weather; scientific discussions; WeHo TV news; streaming surf competitions; book reviews; political commentary and opinion; lifestyle commentary...I watch more YouTube than Hulu, HBO, and Prime combined.
YouTube is the best site on the internet, but freedom of speech is under attack, so it is not as good as it was years ago.
I can see how people get hooked on youtube. You go with the intentions of watching only one thing then another video pops up that's similar so you check that out. Then more pops up that captures your attention. Next thing you know, over an hour has passed and your watching something completely different then what you initially wanted to watch. Distractions, distractions, distractions. I use to wonder why people spend so much time on the forums. But i guess if you become close to the people on the forums there's a bit of that emotional attachment.
