I was impatient to come up with a username and well I'm happy and my husband tells me I'm a pill all the time. So, happypills, plus it is a song that I was really into at the time I joined this forum

Yes, that one. yes I know the theme is rather dark but I didn't see the video nor contemplate the message of the song before selecting my username. But it's all good - I like songs about malfiscants and wrong doing i.e. Macy Gray's songs about killings and crimes. Not that I'm a violent person, I just like the idea of the underdog getting over on the system/bad people.

Used this nick about 10 years ago, from the Wheel of time books by Robert Jordan. The character got murdered but I don't think I was that far in the books at the moment I picked it I feel it's kind of outgrown me (used it mainly on metalforums and it seems a kind of stereotypical metalhead pseudonym to me) but on this forum it remains to be my username.

 

I watched La Vie en rose right before joining this forum, and I really liked the word Piaf.

oh well, it's been my nickname forever. It originally came from the Care Bears. When I was little my parents didn't waste money on clothes so I ran around naked all the time and they called me their little Mare Bare just a play on the work Bear/Bare. It just stuck and I still like to run around naked and my closest friends know me by this name or they just call me Bare for short or as The BARE - ya know like Beaver Cleaver was call The Beaver. Silly I suppose.
