I got 5 awesome records today!

1) Them old country songs (Traditional Country Music) - 2 record set

2) K-TEL: Hot Tracks (A collection of hot hits from 1983 (A couple I see are from 1982))

3) Deep Purple In Rock! (Must be thier first album as thier is no name on it (OR DATE))

4) Bob Dylans Greatest Hits

 

I got 3 records today

Johnny Mathis - Tenderly

and 2 78s from Nelson Eddy -- They are FULL SIZE! (Same size as 33s)

I got a couple nice records today!!

1) Country Store - A bunch of traditional country songs
2) A victor 78 which i think is from the early 1900's (It has a copyright of 1912 on it (Well several dates... one in 1905,aug 11 1908 and the latest patent said May 1st,1912))

Its only one sided!! (Nothing on the other side) -- The song is 'Ave Maria'

 

I just got a BOZ SCAGGS album and I cant believe how many songs I know off this album! (I DIDNT KNOW WHO SUNG THEM I GUESS) -- This is BOZ SCAGGS Greatest Hits and it sounds superb!!!!

these are the only LP´s I´ve bought since winter ended two months ago.

1) Captain and Tennille - Come in from the rain
2) A christmas 78!! (Ruldolph the red nosed reindeer/if it doesnt snow on christmas)

Both sound excellent!!!!!!!! -- Ruldolph the red nosed reindeer is probably my FAVOURITE christmas song

5) Johnny Mathis - Merry Christmas (This one is in MONO (I have been wanting this album IN MONO for awhile (One of my favourite Johnny mathis albums)))

6) A 78: Ave Maria (Same song both sides (Different composers (THIS IS A FULL SIZE 78 (Same size as a 33)))

7) A 78: Bing Crosby - (You Do/How Soon)
8) A 78: Dick Haymas - (What do I have to do/A little Imagination)
9) A 78: Dick Haymas - (Maybe its because/It happens every Spring)
10) A 78: Andrews sisters & Guy Lumbardo - (Money is the root of all evil/Johnny Fedora)

 

Boy... 2 boxs of records came in today @ salvation army!!

1) Elton Johns Greatest hits - I almost put this back as I had so many!! (IM GLAD I DIDNT!! (I didnt know if I would have enuf $$$ (They only came to $10.60 though (I knew it wouldnt be much but I didnt have too much $$$ with me))))

2) Night Flight - A collection of songs from 1981 (I have this album (I got it in the 80s but didnt take care of it <<>> basically unplayable -- Im glad I found another copy!))

3) Eagles - One of these nights

4) Best of the Beach Boys - Volume 2

5) Men at work - Cargo

6) Harry Chapin - Verities & Balderdash

7) Terry Jacks - Seasons in the sun

I got DIRE STRAIGHTS - Brothers in Arms today!!!!!!

Wow,i have wanted this for awhile...... I have the 45 of this song (MONEY FOR NOTHING) and its a MASTERDISK and sounds excellent!!

THE ALBUM IS ALSO A MASTERDISK! (Bob Ludwig) and should sound just as good!!


I was waiting in line to pay for 2 movies I just got and noticed a small stack of records off to the side.. I looked thru it and couldnt believe it!! (I was even more happy to see "MASTERDISK" in the middle!! (RL (Rob Ludwig))

 

Got as a present:

I just got "THIS IS THE MOODY BLUES" and it is insanely good!! (1974) I think its a GREATEST HITS collection (2 record set)

I also got a 78

Bing Crosby & the andrews sisters (Hot time in the town of Berlin/Is you IS or IS you aint)

 

Not a big fan but that is actually really cool music to hear from vinyl! Hope you have a good sound system for that :2thumbsup:

Havent heard anything from them in MANY YEARS! (I remember I loved them in the 80s)

3) Dire Straits - No name on it
4) Starflight - A collection of songs from 1979 (I have this album I got in the 80s but I didnt take care of it and its ruined -- Its good finding another copy )
