I just got a replacement record for my Seals and Crofts Record today (BS 2886)

The one I got months ago from salvation army was in bad shape,noise and skips all thru it (BSK 3109) Quite sad indeed.... This one looks IN MUCH BETTER SHAPE... (I got this @ a friends place who sells records also (Its not his main business though))

Hopefully the original!! (Im sure he doesnt want digital crap on his ANALOG record)

 

Discogs says it was first released in 1985 with a different cover.
Release with this cover and a note referring to coloured vinyl is undated but this sort of 'splatter' colour is only very recent.
Zenmagma can tell us how 'crap' the record is.

 

just got the first three Little Feat albums in pristine condition ,they had been on my wishlist for a while

nice find on the Grand Funk album,they are a hard to find band in the Netherlands and I really want to have On Time,Grand Funk and Closer To Home on vinyl.

as for Blue Oyster Cult, I love Agents Of Fortune and side A is one of their finest but my favorite BOC album would be Secret Treaties ....and not just because of Flaming Telepaths>Astronomy :2thumbsup:

 

the thick marbled vinyl and nicer labels on the Zep bootleg suggest that it is a new pressing and I´d take that over a worn out $62 original copy

got 2 fun Harry Nilsson albums. some top musicians like Ringo Star,George Harrysong,Klaus Voorman,Nicky Hopkins,Bobby Keys etc playing on these brilliantly produced records.

and a Van Morrison compilation with early versions of the classic Astral Weeks tracks Madame George and Beside You, but to be brutally honest the only song worth hearing here is the title track T.B Sheets.

I love 78s.. Of all records THEY SOUND THE NICEST due to them being in mono and the speed they are traveling at!!
