Most fast food is terrible. Take a burger from McDonald's or Burger King and then compare it to a real burger. Fuddrucker's is the best chain burger in the country, not fast food, but it destroys that crap you get from the clown. Chances are, you go to your local bar and grille and ask for a burger, it will be far better than anything at BK. Subway and Quiznos are pretty good. But the best fast food are the little ethnic places. Which is why Eating out in Johnson City sucks. No cheap cool ethnic restaurants. Go to New York, London, Rome, Sydney, Miami any city with a large immigrant population and THEN you will discover some awesome cheap quick food. Not Fast Food, but fast food. Not chains, just a little hole in the wall with awesome food quick and cheap.

Shit man, definitely sonic. They have awesome smoothies, and by far the best food for a high person is either a smoothy or milkshake.

My favorite would have to be a local drive-in that has been here since the 50's, Smitty's. They have the best home style burgers and fries, with a great selection from local seafood to onion rings, all at a great price too.

If it's not Smitty's, it's Chinese takeout. McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's -- all those joints make me feel ill when I eat there now.
