i'm not thrilled with that, but at least i should outlive my mom. which is kind of important because you already declared that i'm going to die on her birthday week, and it seems mean to do that to her if she's around to witness it.
I will be surprised if I make it to 70 I dont have a single male relative in immediate family on either side that made it past 69 In no way related: Anyone heard from glenglen recently?
Yeah! He was totally self sufficient, cooking, cleaning, driving until he got ill and admitted to hospital a week before he died.
I don't really understand this death day thing but I do know that I have prepared for my body to be donated to medical school. The paperwork is already in place. If for some reason this can't happen I have told my family that there will be the most simple cremation with no fuss. no ceremony and most importantly no fucking grossly inflated funeral directors bill!
In my family (both sides) people usually get at least 80 and its not uncommon to die near the age of 100. But yeah, more than half of those people live the last 10 years (or more!) in a retirement home doing pretty much nothing. Now, I often do pretty much nothing too (pretty damn good at it ), but its solely by choice, i don't need anyone to wipe my butt or get out of bed and I can get active any time I choose. I don't think I care about getting 100.
I hope to go out like my grandmother. She was able to get around and her mind was sharp until the day she died at age 85. Her heart just gave out one day. There was no prolonged illness, no agonizing years of dementia, just...enjoying life and then it's over at an old age.
I died in 2009 when I let my family move here as my dad was dying, so now Ive another parent dying . while Im tying to manage my own health, work, play and study..
Bad news!!!!! You are going to die after you eat your next meal. Well, I hope that you don't die BEFORE you eat it.
