very nice as always, jay ... you make the cars really stand out even more using Photoshop. :)

hmm ... been thinking more about the whole selling prints thing was wondering if there are any arts/crafts fairs around you. maybe it would be worth trying to get some prints together and get a stall?
i only thought about it as i the Cornhill Arts Festival in Rochester came to mind the other day when I was looking at your pictures and there were a few photographers that had unique pictures for sale in stalls there, amongst other artisans. i could imagine trying to sell online would be a hassle, and you wouldnt get much from it; but maybe at a venue like that an Arts Fest you would?

i know you could use the money for school or to try to get away from N.America if you wanted, and it is awful feeling poor and trapped. you really do have a great talent and you should be able to exploit it to earn yourself a few bob. :)

Yeah I've looked into that a bit. It's hard though becuase to do that I need money, and I have no money. I'm sure it will work out eventually.

This is my newest piece. Some photomanipulation for your viewing pleasure.

Stepping out: leaving the well known shadows of familiarity for something unknown and perhaps better then where I currently dwell. Here I go, and though terrified, I know in my heart of hearts this is exactly what I need.

    Common Indigo use your imagination!
Perhaps it's one of many Polaroids taken at a crime scene, or Polaroids sent to cops by some bad guy, in which they have to figure something out before something untimely happens. :)
    It could be anything.

Common? never been called that before :(

i thought like a rally or scavenger hunt or something ... or maybe it's some really elusive clue to Catchphrase ;)

just wasnt' sure if it actually meant something in particular.

Generally I don't like to give meanings to my work, and just let people take whatever they want from it. :)

    that's really beautiful. :)

did you add the colour to the leaf yourself or was it like that? it looks 'enhanced' is why i ask.
does make really miss a good autumn though back in the NY/Ontario area as the trees would turn lovely colours and well you don't get that as much over here. not nearly to the extent there was in that area of the world.

That's what HDR photos do, enhance things like colour. :)
I'm glad you like it, and yes, we have beautiful autumns here.

yeah, had i thought of it before posting i would have asked if that was HDR or if you had particularly colour-washed it.

i still don't fully understand the HDR thing. Do you actually manipulate each layer then a bit before putting it together? or is it just laying one image over another enough times for it to look really rich and pure?

sorry if i'm asking you a bunch of questions, it just does actually intrigue me. though myself, i'd never be able to take pictures as i'm really shit at it for some reason. even simple pics i take i end up having Sonny take them as mine are all blurry or the lighting is never right or I cut off too much of the image, etc.

i wish i had the talent of photography, but well it allows me to enjoy other people's work even more. :)

Yes, in photoshop you can layer and manipulate until you get this. I use a program that layers them for me because I'm just learning, once I get the hang of it, I'll start layering myself.

Unbridled talent. A joy to see. So glad your back. (Still throwing my camera in the bin!!!) Please keep it up. If I was loaded, I'd give you the money to set yourself up selling. Let you know when I win lottery!!

P.S. I'm 1 of the 10,000. Every picture is amazing.
