    I will come back, but I need to step back. I've realized that I spend far to much time here, and I need to get back to other things.
    I felt hurt by what's gone on in the last couple of days, not just in this forum, but elsewhere on the board too. I felt silenced, I couldn't say anything and when I did, posts got deleted, threads got deleted or locked. I was frustrated, and hurt, and I still am. When I genuinely wanted to know something, I was silenced yet again. I was threatened with being banned, and anyone know knows me, knows that I am not one who needs to be banned.
    Part of me feels like I am making to big a deal out of this, and maybe I am, but I think that's what made me realize that I need to take some time out. I've become too entwined in this forum (and the internet in general) and I've forgotten about other things.
    I have prom tonight and I want to go back to being excited and not thinking about this.
    I love all of you guys and you know that, it's not personal, this place almost has a family atmosphere to me, But when I get threatened with bans, or my threads closed for asking why something I asked was deleted, I think there is a problem. When I can no longer ask a question, I think there is a problem.

    What you don't realize, is that once these innocuous posts were started, OTHERS came on (who are now banned, or will soon be banned permanently after this post is done.), who came and INSULTED the mods, the website, the people ON this website, etc.

    YOU CANNOT SEE WHAT INSULTS WERE POSTED. That's the fucking point. WE are protecting YOU and this site.

    I'm sure you need to SEE the fucking insults before you'll understand, but I'm not going to show you MORE forum violations. BELIEVE ME, they occured.

    We don't need to JUSTIFY ANY BANS. It's just a waste of time, and some people are NEVER SATISFIED, with our answers, and only want to make more trouble.

    My job is to keep these forums FREE of that kind of shit. That is what moderation is all about. You complain because we're doing our job.

    Oh a couple of threads got closed. Booo fucking whooo! They were complaints that should go in the User Support forum.

    You don't like the way things are run here, you are ALWAYS free to go somewhere else.

    I've been forced to step away from my REAL work, adding more great features to this website, just to deal with the bullshit you've posted. I've now lost two days work thanks to YOU PEOPLE. You don't realize the effects your actions have on others.

    I will tell you one more thing.

    Being on this site is a PRIVILEGE, not a right. So don't complain about your free speech being compromised, when you are breaking our forum guidelines. Besides we aren't keeping you in a prison. There are only 54,678,343 similar websites you can express yourself on, but yet you're all HERE. So we must be doing something right.

    This is JUST A FUCKING INTERNET FORUM, not REAL FUCKING LIFE. Many of you seem to need to GET a life if you take this all too seriously.

    One more thing - I take this ALL very seriously because it interferes with my work, sets back my schedule, causes ME and others undue stress.

    AND ALL THIS CAUSE SOME ASSHOLE GOT BANNED FOR A FUCKING WEEK!

    Is it worth it?

    If you think all this is worth it, keep posting these threads, and to save myself from MORE UNNECESSARY WORK, I will just throw this whole forum into the trash. I gave you guys another chance, Peace has worked hard here, yet you are all willing to throw it away over ONE FUCKING IDIOT. Fine. Continue on, see what happens.

    Lastly, I give much credit to Sal for trying to keep this place together, but if it becomes more work than I need, I don't fucking care, it's history.

    Show some RESPECT for the mods and admins, or go elsewhere. You think it's better elsewhere, but I believe some of you know better now.

    BTW, when you leave, don't come back, esp under an alias.

    Who else wants to go, go now.

    I want to see those who really don't care about this place and don't respect our mods, our rules to leave, because then I don't have to deal with this BS again.

    aw skip, she's a good 'un. i have no idea what has gone on, nor do i really want to know. but i doubt it originated with jay, though she may have got caught up in it. anyhows, hope everyone can take a deep breath and find a smile within themselves. it relieves so much bad feeling.

    Looks like civilised discussion to me? Multiple viewpoints, some disagreements, some grievances aired. If it'd been closed like the others those grievances still wouldn't have been aired, resentments would grow and this whole sorry debacle would keep going for longer. We're good at sorting these things out on our own in this community if you trust us to, skip:)

    i can see that you are angry skip, with reason by the sounds of things. but anger mixed with anger breeds no peace.

    so can i just add this. this was placed at the entrance to the Kidz Field at Glastonbury and maybe we can think about and learn something from it.
