i'd say about 97% of people are selfish nailpolish hun, including me. and goals of the 97% are of the ego driven mind, and to the egoic driven mind, goals implies looking to the future for success, happiness, etc...

sure your unhappy, sure you want out. all i'm asking is if u can see yourself working the earth in the worst possible scenarios.(expect the worst when you are looking to find your true life purpose, and you wont be dissapointed. !) if u dont get fired up when thinking over cleaning up cow shit then its not 4 u. if you dont feel you can accept that u will have to do it then u wont be content. most times, when u start at the bottom, u will start at the bottom, know what I mean? lol, I can only just manage to clean up after my freinds horses, so I know its not for me. but I respect those that do, wellies and all.
think about it in a meditation. think of the worst, first, then think about were u would like 2 be in say 10 years time,....maybe u would like to work an organic farm, perhaps tending the animals. If u can get past the meditation, then its time for u to move to a university to get a certificate in agriculture. organic farms are on the increase as people are becoming more aware of the dangers of GMO, and cruelty to livestock. I dont know how your country runs their courses, but here in the UK its a three to 5 year degree course. and very well paid. search the net for new stuff, courses, and new technology advances and other agricultural stuff to keep your interest.
but do your dedication meditation lol. u dont wanna waste your time do u?

    all the best.

You could probably cut down on a lot of your bills, maybe live with out something for a few months. So that you can save up some extra cash, sell your current house and move to a more urbanized area. There are probably a lot more job opportunities in a larger city.

    Best of luck.

I'm actually thinking now of possibly joining the peace corps... I just know it would be perfect for me. problem is, I applied, but I don't have enough experience. So, I'm thinking of volunteering with the homeless first.

This is the way I feel. Here in NY it's quite common to hear people say things like "I just want to be successful" which to them really just means that they want to own tons of property, have tons of bread and drop dread doing so.

See, my friends think I'm crazy for what I consider "successful".
Honestly, I don't want to be rich. I want to be comfortable, but not rich. Money makes things complicated.
For me, successful is having a roof over my head, someone I love, plenty of loving friends, a career I love, and plenty of free time to educate myself, explore, hike, smoke, paint, write, read, etc.

Same here, although I don't even think the career thing is necessarily included in my definition of succes.

nice one. u get to travel with voluntary work too... and people will sponsor u. get your workmates to sponsor u. we do it at my work place. one girl raised £200 toward her travel expenses for homeless kids in south africa....and that was just at work where there are 20 people.. not only will u see the world u wanna see, it will give u more of a pump to get involved to make things better and raise awareness of the unjust systems. and employers really like this sort of thing.
I'm currently in the process of doing the same sort of thing.

good luck and keep us informed

    You got it all wrong...
    You work hard TO die.
Death will be the greatest thing most of us monkeys ever experience.

Or you could work to have a wonderful life.

    Life is hard work!
    Work hard!

    It pays off.

lol i know, i was just thinking about this today...
we spend our whole lives working..
going to school... work hard there..
only to find a good job.. and work for the rest of your life..
and some people dont even find a career, which sucks for them, cause
then they'd be stuck flipping burgers or something for their whole life.. making shit money... lol.

so i was thinking today.. that i wanted to just go out, in the wilderness, or something, in a cabin, cottage thing of some sort, alone and away from the city life, and not have to work and please everybody... shoot. what a life.. lol.
