How about you start off with saying to him that you REALLY care about him..use the word CARE and start from there..be slow about bringing in the love word because he appeared in the beginning to be comfortable just saying he cared...and you dont want him to run away !!!!!!!!!

Good advice! All right he's coming over for dinner right now. My parents don't know anything, but they will think he is just a friend and their leaving right after dinner so then I will talk to him. I'm also going to tell him how much I love him. I'll tell you how it goes.

Okay, here's what happened. It took a little while to talk to him about his girlfriend because the first thing that I said was that I loved him, and as soon as I said that he jumped on me. Then after about a half an hour of sex we were lying on the floor and I started talking to him. I asked him what was the deal with his girlfriend? I asked where she fits in his life and whether or not he meant it when he said he loved me? He told me that he truly loved me and that he is gonna break it off with his girlfriend, but that he just needs time. He's gonna spend the night with me again. What do you guys think?

 

I may just be paranoid, but I'd keep my guard up. What I mean is, he could say he "needs times" months from now.

 

I agree. You should make sure he follows through with this, because otherwise she'll just get hurt even more in the long run. Something similar happened to me a couple years ago (with a girl, before I knew I was gay, and without the sex part of it). She was in love with one of my best friends, but somehow we were going out too, and I though I loved her, and when I found out after she broke up with me that she was with him all along, I was really hurt and offended and pissed.
