Just yesterday I was dusting off my book shelf and I noticed my high school year book sitting there all sad. It's so old that it's binding is coming apart.
My heart goes out to you... my wife passed from cancer two years ago. We'd been together since 1981. We were very happy too until her illness. I went to see Bassnectar a while back ... sensory overland! I felt slightly old but still had fun. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
That seems to be almost universally true. I guess we tend to remember the positive things more than the negative things. I can still be quite nostalgic though.

When I think about all the friends, classmates, folks I once worked with, military buddies and mostly Family who have passed on, oh I miss them all so....:-/

When you can remember all cars on the road being from the 40s. When you can remember when you couldn't put 5.00 worth of gas in your car. Wouldn't fit. When ration stamps from ww2 were necessary to get certain items. Bringing cans of food to school to ship to Europe to help with the Marshall plan. When James Stuart,James Cagney,Gregory Peck,Robert Mitchum,Hedy Lamarr,Jane Russel,ect were big time. Yikes!
