If someone wants to do well in school then they will, weed or no weed.
weed doesn't make people drop out of school it's their choice.
plus school sucks and it is possible to go to college and getting a career without going to highschool i mean it makes it more difficult but if you really try you can.

a lot of people who drop out also happen to be stoners but that desn't mean it's cause of weed and also this lecture online won't make any one change thier lives.

I think everyone is entitled to live their lives how they want and if they wanna get a shitty job and barely be able to pay the bills then dont look down on them for it...i dunno this post just pisses me off
cause people who cut class to smoke weed aren't doing it to make stoners be viewed well by the rest of the world it's cause that's what they wanna do so let them live thier lives and you live yours.

Just wrapping up my first year of college, TNS. College is all about balancing work and fun, but that gets pretty hard. Oh, and prepping for 4/20 :spliff:

How's your neck of the woods? What does a true top notch stoner do on 4/20 that makes it special?

your fucking 15..like i said in the origional post, look back at your life in 8 years after you've dropped out and then you can think wether dropping out of the easiest thing you will ever do [highschool] bettered yourself, or put you in a worse position.

because people who do meth, cocaine, ex, all those things, they smoke pot too
and those are the people that people see when they think of pot

therefore, they think of pot = they think of all those drugs and crime and shit

they dont think of the people who only smoke pot and use it responsibly and have a good education and a good successful life

Everyone's different. I mean, those dropout burnouts... I don't think they'd have done shit with their lives anyway. I know some of these people. If they weren't smoking weed, they'd be drinking, and if they weren't drinking... they'd probably be in jail for doing something stupid because they get bored and have nothing better to do.

They can't be helped. They don't want to be helped. They can't spell "help".

In my own humble opinion, people should just try to... refrain from becoming "potheads", and certainly from labeling themselves as such. There's nothing wrong with smoking some weed with friends, if you have some other things in your life... Like I love literature and art and language. And I really want to be a teacher. I maintained a 4.0 (or higher, my lowest GPA was 3.9) while getting stoned all the time. If you have something you really want to do, make it happen. If you don't, then look for that something. If you don't care, then... I don't know what to tell you, then.

There all different kinds of people, really. I don't know, I give up. I'm starting to ramble.

Why is it such a bad thing to work at burger king, maybe thats all some people want to be. I don't want to make a lot of money and I never have, I just want to further my knowledge and herb helps me to do so.

Because Burger King will not pay the bills, you won't work at Burger King, you'll work at Burger King plus somewhere else, plus having a job that shitty for 30 years will destroy you as a person. It's not fun, it's not rewarding, it's horrible annoying, lots of asshole customers and will make you hate waking up in the morning

I think more teens should be interested in doing trades.. it seems there are shortages in tradespersons .. smart people seem to think that they are obliged to do more paper-based work.

Tradespersons will always have work.. and can charge good amounts.. apply themselves to their job daily with new problems

then get stoned when they get home

That's true and it's a lot easier to run your own business, which means you keep what you earn(after taxes of course).

One of the problems with working at a place like Burger King is that you never get payed the full value of your work. In order to remain competitive in a capitalist economy companies have to cut costs and under paying workers is an easy way to save money.

Just because someone skips school and smokes pot, doesn't mean they don't do good in school. I skip school all the time and I got a 3.8 GPA on my report card.
