Wow. That's a lot of hours. I'd probably try it if I could, but I can't get a second job, and I only have 105 hours possible to work in a week. Oh and fitzy, I probably wont pregame, but I'll stick to pitchers of beer. I can get three of them for about $20, and that's enough beer to keep me going I believe.
yea, thats what i do to. about the same price. shots are what kill me though. but 3-4 pitchers and i'm good.
Before I had the kids, I worked outside the home at a family physicians' office and the most hours I put in were 40. Most of the time, not even that though. More like 37. My husband works around 50 hours a week. Sometimes less, sometimes more, depending on whether he's got some large bids going on (he's a contract sales manager/estimator). But he's usually home by 5:15-5:30 PM, rarely any later than that. If he has to put in more hours, he usually just gets up earlier in the morning and goes in then while we're still sleeping instead of having to work later in the evening and miss out on time with the kids and I.
dilligaf once worked 104 hours in a week an she said "ill never forget it,hehhehe, and ill never do it again".. me,, i do about 60 a week because i count driving.. i have done 80 hours a weekfor a few years when i was young.. but i was makin a whole hella lot more than 9 bucks a hour..
oh ive pulled 30 hours straight at times when i was real young,, for like 8 bucks a hour.. but in todays money that would be like 16 a hour,.. an when we were done we were done for 4 or 5 days..
The most hours I have ever worked in a week is 96, and that is enough for me. I could handle more than that if I absolutely had to, but I would rather not. I make 9.00 too, but I make a commission as well. The thing is, the taxes taken out of the commission leaves me with not a whole hell of alot. M y average check for a 2 week period is about $800.00
thats my thing,, overtime kills.. ya pass a tax bracket at like 1200 a week and it just is backing up.. so i try an keep it between 12 and 15...
yep. I studied accounting for a long time, but I never focused on the advantages of using the tax brackets to your advantage. Now, I wish I had.
26 or 27 hours, I believe, is the most I've worked in a week at $6.25 an hour. Give me a break, I work at a fast food joint that's only open for 10 hours a day and I get the good hours and I keep getting days off. I also am one of the highest paid people who work here in town. Sad, huh? I may have a bit of debt on me right now, but it's the best I can get here in town, and this week I get the worst two days off. I'm not complaining. But geezus fucking methusala, 100 hours? You'd better get online after you wake up from the coma you'll be in afterwards to let us know that you...well, survived said coma. Haha.
