was politeness really such a terrible thing that it had to be trivialized as "political correctness", and would we really be as tyranny fucked if it never had been?

Just as long as you're not a shitcunt, cause that's the most offensive versions like... you pretty much just don't want to be called a shitcunt.
well you do realize, that nothing, whether its a god, or the formation of a planet or the extinction of a species, doesn't have to have anything to do with what anyone tells anyone else to think they know about it, in order, or at least something a lot like it, to exist. so in that sense, the word "tree" is seriously NOT a tree, or even what a tree is. my other question would be specifically what is the utility of this word "****"? if the intent is to say "vagina", why not simply say vagina, instead of layers of drama lama silliness?
I think we are all artists. **** is a tool, like any other word, or color, or sound, or image. Why use light blue to paint the sky, instead of using several shades of gray? Why not use a Buster crab to portray nature, or fate, instead of Moby dick? The word **** used to really irritate me - actually, pretty much any foul language, recited in normal everyday conversation, used to irritate me. In my case, it was because I was taught to look down on it. Now I see it as just another color in my pallet - one that I typical don't use in every day life...I'm old - I still use the word dick, dick head, or asshole.
sure there are a lot of words that are uncomfortable that can be used to create emphasis, but isn't it being overdone, mostly just in the time since we have this current example in the oval office, this looking excessively for excuses and occasions to use them? i mean triky dicky may have loved to "cuss like sailor", OFF CAMERA, but isn't creating a culture of normalizing doing so "on camera", contributing to a culture of thoughtlessness also? when you're a kid its like, wow, i can say something that might offend someone, but am i the only one who thinks about that to the degree we create a culture in which its ok to be inconsiderate of others, isn't it obvious that means we are inflicting upon ourselves, having to live in a culture where we can expect others, even more so then in the past, to be likewise less considerate of ourselves?
I see where you are coming from. I guess it all depends on what a person considers harmful. Maybe I'll change my view about it at some point in my life. Lol, I remember getting slapped by a teacher in 3rd grade because a girl in my class told on me for saying, "dang". How times have changed!
