well, i for one would grow my own if i had the money and land to do it...or are you proposing to provide us all with free land, housing and equipment?? many people do 'go crazy for the homeless people' and do try and help and do think about our own species but the thing is alot of homeless people have homes they just don't want to be in them for one reason or another. ok mr. stuckonmyself smartypants?
also, as asked in the other thread, don't you have an original argument to bring forth instead of this mouldy old crap?
Also, I don't think I'm morally superior because I don't eat meat, I think I'm morally superior because of the way you come here, posting the way you do, and because you like to assume that I am morally superior, and then call me out as someone who believes himself to be morally superior. Don't forget ... you're the one coming here, assuming that you know it all, and that we are just followers of the "vegans" and that we know nothing for ourselves. And you come here talking down to us like we don't know what we're talking about. For shame. Of course, I'm a naturally defensive kinda guy. I'll defend myself when being threatened or infringed upon, and I will certainly consider myself morally superiors to YOU (and you alone, not meat-eaters in general) for looking down on me the way you have been. --- We are all born in this world as it is now. And we are doing our best to change it. Because of how messed up it was when we were born into it, we don't have the chance to live exactly as we try to, or exactly as we preach. But we do OUR BEST. And if that's not good enough for you ... then you're a failure, too, my friend.
Haha, I actually find myself to be quite mature for my age. By the way, it's spelled "truly" ... I was stating my opinion, and I was actually trying not to sound hostile in any way, shape, or form. Haha, it's kind of funny though because I was simply attempting to hold somewhat of a peaceful conversation, but you out-right attacked me and proceeded to call me a hypocrite. Do you grow your own vegetables? I'm just wondering, I'm not assuming that you do or do not. I'm sorry, but my family does not have the right soil (florida.. sandy shit man), or proper gardening tools to grow our own vegetables. And even then, we're pretty poor, so we couldn't afford the proper things to keep a healthy garden. When I was writing my post, I don't feel that I was writing in a manner that made me sound 100 percent for animals and anti human species. I just simply stated that more animals are killed in factory farming than by machinery. I find it rather strange that you were able to draw the conclusion that I hate the human race based on that one post I made. And I have been to a city... I lived in Boston for 8 years. I acknowledge that there are hundreds, maybe even thousands of homeless people living there. But there really is nothing I myself can do about that. Think about it... With vegetarianism you can contribute less to slaughter, but what can you do to help aid the homeless? Donate, thats basically it. But looking at my situation, I have NO money. I have 10 dollars in my wallet right now, and I have no job. And just so you don't call me lazy or anything, I just want you to know I've applied for three jobs, but the only thing that will hire people my age isn't hiring anymore... Haha, sorry. I'm still laughing at your response to my post. I really did try to write my previous post in the most courteous (sp?) way possible, and you went all assholish on me.
Damn... I realize the effects of some things, but everyone has a right to live, even though there is such thing as over-population which is occuring with a lot of humans, especially in a lot of places in the US and places like Indonesia.
Another thing is that a diet is nothing big to brag over...you eat, you shit, you move on. You have the right to believe what you believe but I find it irritating when people build a fucking billboard on their head. I am a vegetarian, but I like being middle of the road abou t it. Yes, maybe eating one animal won't hurt you if you actually need it, but after downing a big mac, it isn't all that good of an idea to sit on your ass... but I'm not saying you do that. People should take what they need to use, and give back what they don't for the benefit of all beings. I believe it is better to grow your own and hunt yourself than it is to drive up to mcdonalds and tell someone you want a combo. But it's not like ted nugent really needs to eat a dozen bears or some shit. These are different times and it's a different world... people really don't need to eat as much as they do, a lot of the time... but I'm not going to stop anyone from doing something they have the right to do.... There's going to be extremists... deal with it. But that's a lot like some people who maybe are in greenpeace or any of those orgs who kill people to save trees... it's not going to get you anywhere being violent or not listening and comprimising... or being full of yourself. As for where you live, how much you make, and what you do, I don't really care when it pertains to bringing others down with it or showing authority over people who you don't know... though it is interesting, at proper times...
By the way, my family formerly owned a produce, flower-bulb, and free-range farm. It was in the family since my great-great-grandfather. I grew up on the place, but my grandmother died... sooooo... fucking estate sale. Wish the place was as big as it orginially was when it was a plantation/ranch thing when they first built the house on it during the revolutionary way, but... it's all been sold/being sold. Eh, I wouldn't want to live there anyway (I don't like eastern virginia much), but I would have restored it if it had been passed down to me.
