Not I. I like them together. When I eat them I make sure I have a nice mix of both with each fork full.

 

..some back ground...my brother in law, wayne, was a local drug dealer ut higher up than e...i bought much dope from him....hr ws a trouble maker....could drink for days....coke, pills,,anything....one of his faves was novahistex dh...a prescription cough syrup...he is now dead....riddled with cancer.......we were close...together all the time...concerts together etc....one time he made it to a concert in Toronto in 8 minutes in his delta 88 on a highway that normally yook 20 minutes....we flew

so the wedding reception was in the basement of a fancy steakhouse on a 4 lane main road through our town......we were drinking and partying and my brother in law starts up with the ''kissing cousins'' cracks at our table.....i guess someone heard because about 10 pm we were getting ready to leave...plastered but our wives weren't drunk..

the girls tell us they are heading upstairs to pull our car around the front door and we should make our way up there and meet them....they leave....we finish our drinks and head upstairs...unbeknownst to us half a dozen cousins are following us upstairs one of whom will become significant soon lol

so i trip halfway up the stairs and the guys following us start to laugh...that's when we saw we were being followed by this unruly and drunken mob....my brother in llaw says something like ''whats so funny asshole'' or words to that effect...by this time we are at the top of the stares and these guys are surrounding us....we manage to get out the doors where there was cars all parked close to the doors that you had to walk inbetween to get to the driveway

inbetween these cars these guys start really getting in our face but no punches or anything yet...... we are standing beside a 72 Camaro...canary yello...very shiny...obvious show car and someones pride and joy..

all of sudden one dude says ''hey guys can we get away from my car''?

and my brother in law says ''what?..this car?'' and he points to the Camaro

buddy says ''yes that's my car''

before anyone could blink my brother in law............to be continued ...it gets better trust me

ok...I got a surprise yesterday from my special friend. It was a quarter of this extremely potent firecracker material. Its the kind I know I won't be buying any time soon. (This is also not the person I first spoke of giving me some "loud".) This is my special friend.

I put no more than half of what I usually put on it, and made it this morning around 10:30. If I thought real hard about it, I think I still feel it. omg everything was funny funny funny I also got the munchies but not too bad. I felt like doing stuff for a little while but could have taken a nap if I wasn't having to stay awake to keep cats and Mama in line.

That stuff is gooood. mmmmmm

i have a temporary cat...Mojito.....the rat killing cat i borrowed off divorcee...its so cuddly...ut supposedly a good mouser

KITTERY, Maine — Michelle Carr had just put avocado slices onto her salad.

The new mother of a 10-week-old newborn boy was enjoying a quick lunch on Jan. 29 as she washed her lettuce, inverted it to drain, ripped it apart by hand and threw on some grape tomatoes, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Then, as she went to take a bite, she said she stuck her fork into something firm, but it wasn’t a slice of avocado.

Btw: why in earth put chilipowder on your asparagus?

you don't put lots of chili powder on.....it tastes good....and i do not to ''hot'' as in spicy....i cannot swallow a suicide wing but those asparagus are amazing...my brother in law grew up in Croatia and he taught me the method...works best grilled or bbq'd..

.ive never seen asparagus thicker than half an inch or so....it grows wild on the side of the road.....it gets a foot tall and is still skinny but you never eat the bottom part....just the spears....one of the harder crops to grow but you get paid if you pull it in

 

Asparagus is expensive here, and a real short season.. if you bend it, it snaps at a great point, the bottom pieces, trimmed, are great saute in butter.. go well with broccoli stems..yummy!

My experiences as well! Except the stems but can easily be imagined.

Broccoli, sprouts, couliflower and kale (called farmers cabbage/cole in dutch) keeps me going these months.

 

you don't get a crop the first year of an asparagus field,...it comes i the second year......where it doesn't take you have to replant and that section takes 2 years.....to fill a big field isn't easy and isn't cheap....we tried a 40 by 40 foot patch up at the other farm a few years back.....not a single sprout....we thing the seeds got eaten the first year by the squirrels...those goddamned squirrels....trouble makers they are


watching the Olympic opening ceremony...this will be the highlight of the whole 16 dys for me....its spectacular....effect after effect
