See...okay, I gotta chime in.

I go barefoot whenever I get the opportunity. I just...like it.

But, until I joined Hip Forums, I didn't know there was like this cult around it. It's very strange. For some people it's a lifestyle and it's part of their identity. There is a whole section of this forum dedicated to going barefoot. It's just...odd to me.

That being said, I can't remember the last time I watched the Flintstones. I was more of a Jetsons kid.

Woo omg, I won my first league race ever and it was at Daytona in the 24 doing everything I've ever seen Jeff Gordon do to win that race. they was coming on my outside I was all over the race track trying to hold the bottom and slow the top and I got away with it! What a rush, seriously haha. Started on the pole too, the best guy got taken out early he actually near wrecked me too and I had to pit for damage and I dunno I drove through two wrecks avoided them, helped my team mates keep the lead as I played tail gunner. I could see they were gonna wreck I moved low went under it all a sudden 10 laps to go I'm in the lead.

I just roasted a butt load of asparagus, but forgot to peel it first. Now it's all fibrous and chewy. Oh well.

 

You're supposed to peel asparagus?

That explains a lot. I only eat asparagus when I go out, because when I make it at home it's awful.

you don't peel asparagus......ive eaten and cooked it many times....they half an inch thick....nothing would be left

.........fibrous means old and possibly undercooked....you can eat asparagus raw in a pinch

i drench in oil and sprinkle with chili powder and grill or broil....even fry....you cant go wrong.....at least you aren't supposed to be able to lol

 

I don't know, they have peeled it in every restaurant I've worked in. I think it depends on how thick the asparagus is. Baby asparagus is fine, but larger stalks are usually peeled.
