dang Irmi...I might would look into local jewelers or silversmiths because they can usually etch stuff (or whoever would be appropriate) and see if I could find someone to just deepen the etching of the runes a little bit. You know as well as I with just natural wear that over time if the runes are already barely there, given additional wearing time those runes could wear to smoothness.

Glad everything is coming together though.

Yeah. :D they'll be fine for now, might see if they can be deeper, if not I'll look at something else for the future. They aren't the actual wedding rings, just something special. :)

I didn't realize they weren't the wedding weddings...anyway knowing you, you may very well figure how to deepen the engravings.

Good for y'all! Things really seem to be coming together.

since we have somewhat sucky emojis... :2thumbsup:

Friends of mine had the most beautiful little tattoos to celebrate their love, it's something they designed between them, so it's personal, and it's under their wedding bands... So cute!

I'm too scared to get a tattoo. :p not the pain, I'm always worries they'll fuck it up. I've had some good luck in my life, but that luck comes with a fuck ton of bad luck too. And knowing that, even the best artist tattoo person ever, would fuck that up. :p I'm completely sure of it.

Lol,. It's a longer story, but the words on the rings are.. Or rather the runes on the ring read something I was meant to give her maybe 10 years ago on a bracelet. But it never eventuated. So the Runes read this, they are titanium. I like that metal. It's a strong metal! But no not the actual rings lol. I'm replacing my ring now with the new ring and using the old ring on our bindings as a amulet, or decoration.

Discarded mortar bomb kills 8 in Philippines

Discarded mortar bomb kills 8 in Philippines

Eight people were killed in the southern Philippines when a rusty mortar bomb they thought was an iron canister with gold inside exploded as they tried to pry it open with a hammer, police said Thursday.

Senior Supt. Raul Tacaca said by telephone that five other people were wounded by the powerful blast late Wednesday in a far-flung mountain village of Sirawai, a town in Zamboanga del Norte province. The explosion happened inside a bunkhouse for workers of a plywood company.

probably a diamond inside if its carbon based....smash it with a hammer and lets see?

radio host today said he smashes the big shredded wheats in a baggie with a hammer before he makes it....ours are in a paper bag 2 to a bag inside a box of 12 or whatever...isn't the American shredded wheat wrapped again inside the box?

not only that ours is soft enough you can crumble with your hands...no need to smash anything
