Love is wonderful when you're "in love". It seems to give every day purpose and exitement, a reason to want to go home to her and fullfilment when you get there.


I thought I was in love 3 times, and maybe I was, But there is only one of those times that really counted, it was the last time.

I loved my wife with all of my being for 31 wonderful years of bliss and exitement. She died 2 1/2 years ago and now I am alone as never before and I just HURT all of the time.

Love can be hurtful but I wouldn't trade those years for anything.

Me: Awww! That was all cute and stuff. I would consider myself a needy girlfriend, so this poem suits me SO well! (What some might consider annoying, I consider deep and beautimous, but that's just me ). I voted "yes" I've been in love. My "first time" w/ a guy was when I was 12, and we dated off and on for four years -I think I loved him, and one other guy, and my b/f now. While it is nice, being in love isn't so much about "the way you feel with his/her arms around you" or a sign from above telling you. To me, love is being able to live together, argue and make up, know each other 2 years and still manage to talk on the phone at 9:00 at night 'til 7:00 into the next morning. Maybe I fall quickly in love (compared to the previous answers), but I still believe that, when it's right, you'll know it.

love sucks. it messes with your head. i was in love before and it was broken in so many ways. I'll save it until i'm older i suppose. my stand on love changes daily though. sometimes i wish i was loved, but then other times i just wish i was alone...grrrrr

Yes I have. It wasn't perfect, often times it was downright aggrivating. But there was no where I would rather be than with her, even when she was nothing more than on my nerves. I could have spent the rest of my life with her. I wanted to, I almost knew that I would.
