Yo the Detox From Benzo's is no joke.It makes Herion withdraw look like a walk in the park you are that sick. I know a few people who went throught the D's and they told me they would rather kick dope 50 times over then Benzo's ounce !!!! You also can sieze up and die or have a stroke if you just stop taking them. Benzo withdraw has to be done in a detox setting under medical supervision if you ask me its just that dangerous. Also Benzos will burn you out and make you like a fucking Robot faster then any drug I have seen. you loose brain cells so dam fast its like they light a fucking forset fire under your brain.I have ever seen people who abuse them for a long periods of time become shells of there fomer selfs, That fucking shit Robs your sole. When I go to my Methadone clinic every morning I see people all the time fucked up on them its pretty dam sad. They are just gone and stair out into space like they are not there anymore, and like optitom says you don't even understand what the fuck they are saying half of the time they are so out of it. I like a Xanex or valium every now and then but they are really not my cup of tea. Not a drug to abuse buy any means !!!!!
Shoc, I don't know who gave you this information, but you couldn't be more wrong. Both my S/O and myself have worked in Rehab for years, and to our knowledge, the ONLY drug that can actually kill you when you come off of it, is alcohol. You may FEEL like you are going to die when you stop taking benzo's or opiates, but you won't, unless you have other medical problems that excacerbate the process of withdrawing. It's not a good idea to go around telling people this kind of stuff unless you know FOR SURE that it is true. P.S. As an R.N. I have NEVER seen a 4mg Xanax in my career. I agree with whoever said that most people assume that the 2mg bars are 4mg because they can be split 4 times. To the OP, everything with moderation, dude. It is SO easy to get addicted, and most of the time, you don't even see it coming. I got addicted by upping my dosages due to chronic pain, and I wasn't getting the relief that I once got, so I started upping it, and upping it. Guess what happened? Addiction. And it sucks. Sure it feels good while you're doing it, but at some point you realize that your life has been taken over by drugs, and you can't function without them. I'm an RN that can't even get a job right now because of my addiction.....well, and the injury that occured that resulted in my addiction. I am facing one more surgery, and then I plan to get off of this shit. So, take it in moderation.....have some fun, but don't make it a daily thing.
Hey my mother is a dug counsoler, She works for Arms Acres rehab in Carmel NY. I myself went to school after I got clean for a short period to become a drug counsoler but I never did.But the hell with that I have been around people and saw people for years now who have almost died from Benzo withdraw ! Even before learing about drugs in college I knew alot Knew that coming off Benzos was very dangeroes and could kill. I will show you tons of proff to back my statements also, Benzo's withdraw can kill you real quick if you just stop taking them with out weaning off of them in a rehab setting. I can't belive you think that Benzos can not kill a person. I think on the other hand you should not tell people that they can not kill you when they can. wi. I was wrong I stand corrected GlaxoSmithKlin the makers on Xanax stoped making the 4mg xanax bar, It was a time released bar but was taken off the market becuse they were not being used enuff.
