And that's the problem... that's why our healthcare situation is so screwed up. No one should have to go in debt for an mri
I also, last year flew to minnesota, to help a friend there whose parents had died. By no means could I afford this trip. He was suffering from severe depression and was suicidal. He did not have any health care set up, no support system in place, and no money. In that week I was there I went to government offices, helped him get set on Medicare, into a hospital for the next 30 days for treatment for addiction and mental health. All covered and since then the Medicare has covered his treatment, housing, and programs to get him back on his feet. When I compare that to Canada, it is way better.
what is more important? Good healthcare that is efficient and timely or bad healthcare that isn’t working and you can die while waiting?
You really think you are not eligible for it? Should it be available to people who never worked and lived in your country? Never contributed to the system?
Good of you to do that... You know what happens when he has one dime more in his bank account than they say he should have, right?
Medicaid is for people below a certain income threshold and was expanded under Obamacare. Minnesota expanded it Many states, including my own, didnt. You have to be extremely destitute to qualify for Medicaid in my state
Lol ty, I got a notification before the railroad job.. From medical assistance.. You deposited 50$ in your bank account, you no longer qualify for medical assistance. Not exactly word for word, but basically what that said..
that attack was just a demo. although they obviously cannot win a full on war against you, the Iranians wanted to make clear that will cost Americans a lot of casualties, just while You appear to be sick and tired of perpetual war and need to outsource your combat force. They're not as crazy as they look -or try to.
But if people can't afford it, it doesn't matter that it is efficient and timely. Rolls Royces are nice cars, but I can't afford one so that means nothing to me
I dont need it. Not yet anyway. Yes but not through us. Each country should implement their own system to take care of their people, and most developed nations have with one glaring exception. US GDP was at 22 trillion dollars. Trillion with a T. We can more than afford to provide healthcare for all Americans and we have a responsibility to do it. I'm a firm believer that healthcare is a right and not privilege to be commodified for profit
