No you should move to Iraq because you said how awesome it is. No point telling me to use a European venue whatever the fuck that even means anyway, I'm not the one who thinks the living conditions are better in Iraq. That came out of your stupid face not mine.
I have been to all these places, including Iraq, Italy, Malta, and Corsica. I truly loved Libya. I loved Mexico and Canada. I want you to know that I will go where I want and will not take marching orders from you.
I'm not sure the US is the best for me, but I would feel sad if I left. Even though, from the outside, I'm not sure I'd like what I see. If you're born somewhere and know all the people there, you can start to believe in them. I don't care where you're from. Because people are essentially good, everywhere. After all, we're not just ruthless demons trying to eat the nearest human in sight. Now that would be scary.
Because you're comfortable. All these countries are better but you're comfortable where you are. It's a weakness, it's fear.
Do you think there's some reason to be afraid of Iraq? Conversely, do you think there's some reason to be afraid of America? Undoubtedly, we are led by idiots here in the USA. But are they good, evil, or just weak humans? I think it's best to assume that they are dumb. I mean, good. Yeah. Good for you!
I've already been there and will go there again. I'm just not going to go there because someone else told me to go there. If one person tells me to go to Mexico, and another tells me to go to Libya, or Iran or Iraq … well I can't please them all. And the fact remains that some of these so called free western nations have more laws on the books than many others in the old world. I measure freedom by the amount of regulation and control a government has over its people. Here in America you'll get a ticket if you don't cut your lawn, or if you have too many dandelions. Here in America you can have your property confiscated under imminent domain law. Here in America you could be killed by the police inside your own house, just like Ismael Mena in Denver, or Bode Roybal in Fort Collins. You could be beaten to death by cops in Fullerton California, or have your money confiscated during a traffic stop. It's all in how you look at a nation and its laws.
What do you base that on? Why do you say comfortable, and fear, and weakness? You have nothing to base that on? In the several years you and I have been on HF I have never attacked you or said that you are racist, but thinking of it now. I detect that you hate Iraq and its Muslims for some reason. I have been in many countries and will see them again. I've never been to Japan, China, or Nepal but they are places on my list to travel. Ninety years ago a close friend of my father travelled around the world and wrote two books about it. He game my father signed copies. You should look it up on the net. Look up Hans Grieshaber Thirty Years Travelling Round The World.
I've literally never said anything about Iraq or Muslims but I think you're galvanising my point of comfortability and weakness by trying to justify your reasonings in a post that has nothing to do with anything. If I didn't tug at a heart string, we wouldn't be having this conversation so deep down, we both know I'm right.
ah now what did you love about Libya!? Was it the fact that women could not walk the streets alone, well they could but if they did they would encounter a lot of sexual harassment? Is it because the green book over rides all else and religious beliefs comes before all else? Green Book asserts the equality between genders and strongly and denounces discrimination. But it also makes note of the biological differences between men and women and declares that the two genders cannot be equal. The green book over rides everything! Libya is an extremely patriarchal society with traditions and tribal culture. This continues to foster gender discrimination today. Many Libyans today believe that the authorities are attempting to push values on the country without consent. This has made the people hold on tight to their traditional religious principles. Women still face unequal treatment in many aspects of family law. Perhaps it is that you approve of the fact that authorities do not permit any true independent organizations or political groups to exist. Any organization or group that is not sanctioned by the state is punishable by death under the Law. perhaps you like that a country that is suppose to be so rich has so much poverty. perhaps it is the fact that Tripoli, the capital has dismal infrastructure in place to deal with its own human shit and simply pumps raw sewage into the Mediterranean Sea. perhaps it is the Libyan law that permits men to practice polygamy, but if a woman takes another man, what happens to her? Either you are simply a person who went on a Mediterranean; cruise once and visited all those places you listed once in your life, without really experiencing what life is like there or you are a person who approves of a society where by a corrupt and unjust government exists. I am leaning towards you went on a cruise or tour but did not spend a substantial amount of time there to see the truth of what goes on and what it is like. How did you like seeing Leptis Magna? Did you enjoy seeing the Cyrene Amphitheatre?
June 12th 1999 was her first show. So, I was wrong with 35. I must have been merging her with some other character. Couldn't have been Barney.
Not sure how a person who claims to be left can truly love Libya. Makes no sense. perhaps storm enjoys participating the festive occasion of “day of rage” in Libya!
And yet, you will never leave America Move to Iran, spend most of your time bitching online about their government And you will soon find yourself in Soleimanis replacement re-education prison cells with a car battery hooked up to your nuts
Like I said, comfortable where he already lives. America, the world leading SJW nation. "we don't even like the place, but we won't leave and you're going to hear about it."
O … I don't know about all that. You are making some logical acrobatic leaps here. You know very little about me. I read what you said about being comfortable here in America; however, I wish to point out a man could be comfortable in several places. I could be very comfortable at the beach in Panama City, Florida. And I could likewise be comfortable in a mountain cabin in Paonia, Colorado. I travel to places which I like. The giant psychological distinction here is: You were hen peckin' me like an old fat goat of a wife. Now I am going to attach a picture from northern Iraq. I think it is much more beautiful than anything in Australia. I will admit Germany, Bavaria, and Austria have some spots which rival this one. I just happen to like the rugged places.
maybe he can explain it himself, rather than giving you a checked liked. There is absolutely nothing about Libya that is liberal, left wing or democratic. . or perhaps you can explain it.
