Back on topic, once again, why do you think the word fuck is a "bad" word? Drumminmama mentioned Lenny Bruce, he also said things like; killing and war are bad words, whereas Fuck and fucking are good words. Killing and war should be words used in back alleys as curse words and not used in polite company and we should take offence to them. As for "Fuck You!" it should be a friendly greeting and you should say in return; "Why, Thank You! and may you get a Good Fucking Too!"
Yeah yeah, I've been always told that the Bible and the Koran are of metaphorous words which posses an intellectual message and all that... but... can one just explain me any mataphor? Well no need to go to far, for I can say there are metaphores in every childish fairy tale and interpretate em as wise messages. Same goes for the Nostradamus. He spoke confusing words which were always interpretated as divination. Like he did for the 'twin towers'. He just said "two iron birds will lei upon two twins in the city of the angels"... I think it was something like that. Or maybe poorer words. But why does that have to mean that it was a future foretell? Couldn't he just say, two strongholds or something like that will be striken of some flying objects, fire, smoke will rise, thousands will die or whatever. Such messages can get many interpretations. Therefore why shall I consider that divine word when its so similar to the words of a drunken morron? I think paganism is better. Especialy the religions of the far east like Hinduism, Budhism, Taoism, Janism and so on. They are most wise and peaceful religions. They never had conflicts like Islam, Christianity and Judaism always had. And always will in such sick way of life. Abrahamic religions are just anti-life dogmas originated by the religions they curse- paganism. Pagan dieties were labeled as demons and devils in Abrahamic religions (Judeo/Christianity and Islam). Like Beelzebub. Meaning "Lord of flies". He derived from the Assyrian diety "Baal Zephon" meaning "Lord the prince" who was identified with Zeus/Jupiter by greeks and romans. Or the fertility goddess of love and war "Astarte" who is labeled as a demoness of lust in christian demonology. Named "Ashtoreth". In hebrew "Astarte" means "womb". They associated that word with "Bosheth" meaning "shame" so now they name her "Ashtoreth". And many many more. Many wiccans now believe that Satan is just a christian caricature of the pagan 'Horned God' or the Sky Father, a fertility god. There are many many more associations with pagan myths and legends especialy from Sumerian and Assyrian paganism and especialy Zoroastrianism. And what comes at the end?Not a religion of spiritual and intellectual progresion. Ah theres a lot to disscus about religion...
Yes notird, metaphors are used in the Bible but Bible prophecies tend to be a little more specific than what Nostradamus or that matter any other source provides. In fact some are so detailed that critics of the Bible say they had to be written after the fact. Yet some of those prophecies continue to be carried out to this day.
