I think it's funny how a lot of "religious" or "spiritual" people think it's Ok to lie, manipulate, intimidate, gossip, misquote, or whatever but as long as you don't use any 4 letter words while you're doing it, you'll get to heaven anyway. Like God's senile or something.
I agree that its ridiculous the way some people react to cursing - gasp - like its something terrible and disturbing. Its just a word... but at the same time I think people who do nothing but a lot of cursing aren't very bright and don't have anything intelligent to say.
Finish has the most svear word's in the whole world and people svear here very often. I think theyre jsut word's but not too happy ones so i try not svear too often. But if you'r angry why shoudn't you say fuck or vituttaa
Lol... yeah it's interesting how our modern society condemns cursing... well maybe they adopted it from religion first but... what realy impresses me is how people curse eachother to ofend. Hmm... they always use sexuality to hurt someone's feelings lol... I'm not saying we shouldn't feel ofendet beacuse sex is good lol... but sometimes I wonder why... why people use sexual terms to ofend one even if he feels nothing sexual of his kind lol. ...I woder if Sigmmund Freud coul'd explain this if he was alive, lol. Maybe we react like that for our unconscience tells us the ofender should'nt mix with your kind. Beware of him if he has sexual feelings of your mom or your sister lol. Mom should take care of you only, and your sister shouldn't go with a hostile person... Maybe that unconnscious idea is the origin of offence when cursed. But think about the history of cursing! LOL! All cultures curse with sexual terms as far as I know... and their historic origins might be as old as the language itself. But that's now all... how come some persons don't get very inssulted or not at all if being cursed while others might be very ofendet and become very aggresive? Maybe it's beacuse of their social experience. If he was cursed and silent his friends might have see him as a coward or something. That might make the person feel shy while the one who cursed may be deemed as courageous. So the one who reacts agresively by he who curses might have been valued for his courage to fight back. So as long as one is esteemed for a behavior, he'll get more motivated for doing that. Privilaged. That's how one may adopte his attitude of reacting to a curse. How do you react if one curses you? To what persons you react differently (more agresive/friendly)? Can you tell something about your experience (childhood prefered) about cursing and your attitude?
Btw, I think it would be interesting to curse in many public institutions if not directed to someone for offence. I think even the politicans would be more symphathic if they would curse through public and media sometimes. And the teachers in schools... they would get more attention by students for they would sound more interesting while cursing especaly if in a humorous way. Imagine the preacher using curses! And praying in the tample with words like: "Dear God, I realy need some fucking help...". Or the news-speakers using curses in media, etc. Seems cool... doesn't it?
The I figure, curse words are nothing but an extension of my vocabulary. I love words and I love using them, why should I not say cock, ****, fuck, shit, damn, tits etc. Especially, when most of them didn't originate as curse words anyway. (I mean, really, do you think people started out saying, "Tough titty said the kitty..." or "Tough breast said the kitty but the milk tastes fine." ) lol
