“…well those readers will come, promise…” smiled the goblin not really needing to promise anything much though, well not if the reader wanted interaction today, adding “…and I guess these readers here are not those of that bookworld there, not expecting to be entertained in the same manner I mean, for this is live where an integral part of its liveness is pushing the reader into replying back…”, at which the point the goblin just went “…oh no you can’t reply humans MYAHAHAHAHA, where I too am not some book here…” while cupping his hand to his ear again, adding “…that readership is dead, long live our replyship today, we become known by this and I ever more unknown by it…”

"Bound to be ourselves, no matter who or how many may find it unbecoming!" laughed Dejavu rebelliously, addressing the whole world. "Bound to find the only captive audience we've ever had has been our very own selves!" Pleased that he presently felt up to such exclamations, he went on. "Bound to be free to one another in understanding alone!" Dejavu, knowledgeable in his own way, had become even more so during the course of his life. Not that he knew very much overall. One thing he thought he knew was that to go on living we have to want to, and that such a thing was not as simple as it sounded once one had begun to measure the extent of that 'we' ( itself a less than desirable enterprise that it would admit of our measure at all ) finding it wanting in said want. For it was not a question of whether one really had begun to. We had. Wanting to live ever entailed feeling like doing so, so there was hope then, but the threat hung there nevertheless, growing, a kind of cumulus curse. Life resigned to itself; the always undue 'acceptance' of death, its widespread, blooming[sick] sanctification, as though the end of life were its mystery! "We're only what we think it is we write of ourselves, so be sure to write well! Write live!" he got in finally over his narration, with every last ounce of his promethean abundance.

("...one of your best..." went the goblin thank dejavu for the read that made him think)

repost from elsewhere, the mouse's site

“…me I try to chat with the author either on the forum itself, or on their blog then, or I wait till others are talking about someone and then try to chat them too…” mentioned the goblin, quickly adding “…well I tend to avoid an author who is alive but who forgoes any online presence almost as much as I avoid those authors who are only their books upon writer’s forums…”, but by now the goblin guessed that most humans reading this comment understood how “online” meant a two way street here, indeed those days of readersheep were fast disappearing in his view, smiling “…well now, if you buy a book without first probing the author, haven’t you only got yourself to blame if that book then falls short of your expectations…”, “…well it’s just as well you never write books goblin isn’t it…” intervened the slot at this point, continuing “…I mean goblin that normal people don’t even read this far do they…”, to which the goblin’s mind fell back to the line nobody reads my posts but it’s always somebody who replies

The little mouse once thought she could rule her world, but soon discovered she too had to pay a price to win the prize. "One must always pay to have what one wants to gain. There is no such thing as free passage, not even on the journey to ones inner most self." She shakes her head as she remembers ... "No, nothing is truly free and one has to be willing to pay ones dues to get what one wants and sometimes the dream one wants is more costly than reality one fled. Are not wants and wishes often projections of the mind rather than projections of reality. Possibilities that could come true if only one wants it bad enough, but what if those seeds grow into weeds and those suffocate reality to capture the human that wanted its wish into a tangled web of lies and dreams, projections of truth, what if the dream becomes reality and what was wished or wanted turns out to be just that? Or what if the wish comes true but not at all how one wanted? What if one cannot escape ones inner most self and one has to live with the reality of the dream because one is one with the dream?" The little mouse laughs and adds, "Don't worry, one can always decide to want no more and be content with ones inner most self. For after all, a human is only as deep as its psyche and the road to ones inner most self has obstacles one puts there to prevent ones self from venturing too deep, for not all humans are ready to let go and find peace within.

"To rule ones self is to rule ones world," says the little mouse more to herself than to anyone in particular. "But can they, really? Isn't each human a creature ruled by nature and nurture? Do not their emotions often take the upper hand over reason? Does not their very nature not allow for a complete ruling of their selves?" The little mouse shakes her head and thinks on what Marcus Aurelius supposedly has said, "Both happiness and unhappiness depend on perception." To extend on that the little mouse likes to think one can be as happy as one decides to be if that one can see the past for what is is, events come and gone and the future as infinite possibilities, but that only the now matters and if one can accept the now for what it is and be happy with the now, actually decide to be happy to be in the now true happiness can prevail over wants and wishes and one can start to rule ones self over the emotions that nature and nurture have burdened each human with. "If only the human could get past regrets of actions or the lack thereof and let go of expectations of humans surrounding them. Let go of the notion of even wanting to rule their world they would be on the path to find their perfect world, their perfect self." The little mouse stares into the flames and sighs. "Alas, perfection is an illusion and as such unobtainable, the only thing one can hope for is to find ones inner most self and be happy with the who one is imperfections, faults, and darkness included, for one has to embrace the whole of ones self before on can trule start to try and rule ones self, if one so desires." Rising to fill her glass the little mouse says, "Better still is to give up the will to rule and just accept ones self and all others for what they are. Ah, but that would be a perfect world, and perfection does not exists, or does it?"

("...yay, you're nearly at 10.000hit for a mere 265posts..." mentioned the goblin who didn't come to this forum often enough but had seen how well the above post had been received on the mouse's site and she had done so much for so many authors to date, adding "...well, I got banned from kboards straight off, their given reason being "not contributing anything to the forum", odd because I am anonymous but then again I don't have a kendle, nor my picture in the avatar, books in the signature, etc., and where I'm not interested in book readership anyway, not if increasingly those readers are elsewhere like upon your blogworld there or on this forumland here, but at least I made a stir and enjoyed my short time with them, so keep up your good reads, and let's make this online the place to be between us, meaning here for here, not their here for elsewhere...")

"Ah, that picture is from the most "disturbing" scene in that film!" laughed Dejavu, speaking of the mouses posted picture of a shot from Jacobs ladder, a kind of extended twilight zone episode which he'd enjoyed for what it was. "Oh little mouse, I wonder what that thought above will cost you then!" he said, not knowing nothing, but something, however bound it was to be just that. "Everything is in motion, and it is motion, movement itself that is freedom! To think otherwise is an ill-begotten liberty of the imagination! Not that you do of course, but were you to think so, it wouldn't really matter. The well-begotten liberties are forgiving of such thinkings before even being aware of them!" Now this last sentence of Dejavus possibly only made sense to himself, in which case he'd require everyone elses forgiveness, and so at this point in his live writing he held his hands out before him like some sort of sickly supplicant, with a pained expression on his face, hoping it would be all too obvious to any witnessing the spectacle, that his face, and his hands as well, were not made for such things. That if they were he'd be done with them and this whole scene would be behind us, which in a sense it already was, but the point remained. He was free to his thought. If anyone wished to enslave themselves to the contrary, he had a fair surprise for them.

"Sometimes the costs are of less concern than the anticipated outcome," says the little mouse as she thinks of the end of the fiscal year. "Balance is what it's all about, balancing the books, mind and body, finding that state of being in which one can fully enjoy the outcome no matter the cost." She laughs and adds, "To be forever in motion one is bound to be bound to such freedom, but will that then still be freedom? Do humans really have the will to be free, or to use their free will?"

"I don't see why not!" laughed Dejavu enjoying Luckys first question. The second one seemed to have him though. The first part he had, that of humans having the will to be free, but the second part, that of whether they had the will to use their will he found himself deliberating over. Nevertheless he had an answer. "Of course they do." he smiled. "Having it one can't help but use it." And so the declaration had been made. In writing of all places. Dejavu trusted the world would somehow hear it in its own way.

"Ah, but the mere having doesn't necessarily lead to using, one can obtain only to want more," says the little mouse while she reaches out and almost can touch that what is within reach and yet so far, but is it far or is it mere perception? "Nah, humans most always do not see what is right in front of them and reach for that what is just our of reach only to want and want more." Taking a sip of her drink the little mouse stares into the flames as she thinks of want, and and the need for more, better further, stronger, higher. Or is it lust? She laughs and can't help but touch even though she knows it will burn her and make her realise the truth right before she falls.

"Thank you, Goblin." The little mouse loves knowing her words are appreciated by more than just herself and she laughs for the silliness of her vanity.

    a new post then.

"How can the government ration rationality? They feed their humans reasons to justify rationing of free will in bite-sized portions for humans to digest without a massive roar of the people, but then again, the lack of usage of free by most humans leaves room for governments to step in and decide what is right and just, and then reason their rationing of the amount of free will humans have left to use, leaving little or no room for free will in the free Western society where humans point their fingers at oppressive regimes but lack the eyes to see the restraints their own regimes oppress them with." The little mouse smiles and sips her hot coffee. "But not all humans can see reasons for opening their eyes to what is in front of them and drone on along the path to their final destination. One that might lure and shine with a glimmer of hope for better days, but life is only what one makes of it and does not happen if one does not work at it. If only humans would ration their greed and ration their wants and wishes to suit their needs, and do not rationalise the government's reign over their free will, wouldn't that be another step towards a perfect world? But then again, perfection doesn't exists ..." And the little mouse looks at the picture, one she changed to suit a need. "Yes, it can be done without greed. A trade is made which suits a need without rationing or interference."

"Doesn't lead to it necessarily, only because it is it." laughed Dejavu appreciatively, doing his best not to come across as a mouse debater on the subject of will. "But more, you're right Lucky! More more more more more!"

"Yes, let's have more! More sun, more clear skies, more rain for the garden, but most of all more love!" the little mouse says smiling broadly while strutting around the house in her newly bought summer dress looking out the window to the garden nearly in bloom after the rain of the night before. "But sometimes more is less and less actually gets you more," she adds remembering the woman that had more ego than brains and who ended up with less than she could have had. Had she had the sense to see that trying too hard to be more than another humans will turn against the big head leaving the boss without lessers to be more over, especially if those that are perceived lessers are actually equals who will not be denied their worth. But then again there will always be humans who need the confirmation of their worth by sizing up their worth by how many other humans they have 'under' them. The little mouse looks in the mirror and likes what she sees. "Nah, no need for glorifying by exposure and the praise of others. One should live and be content with what and who one is without the need for praise, or glory from others, earned or unduly taken."

"So easy to say one should be content, if one is," smiled Dejavu, speaking as quietly as a mouse now, adding, "You have my praise always Lucky!"

"One might resurrect the living but not the ones who are the living dead. The ones who do anything as not to feel the pain of being alive. Alive but not living, for life has a way of never turning out quite like the dream and livewriting isn't always as easy as it seems."

    a repost then ...

"There," the little mouse says while she fetches the link. "For all the interweb world to read and enjoy while one remains anonymous the way he should be." She sips her tea while reaching out to take a piece of cheese of the plate. "Live writing, life, and fiction aren't that far apart. Doesn't every life has it's hidden treasures? And not so very hidden traps?" the little mouse sighs. "Aren't all human lives the stuff of stories untold? Why not become that avatar, take on that persona and let it be its life you narrate, while keeping both egos in balance with each other. Can the persona be the interesting layer over the human one? Isn't that why she chose that one for well founded reasons?" The little mouse looks out of the double doors into the wet garden. She shakes her head and smiles unhappy, but determined to find a way to live a life without the treasure lost. Getting up from that comfy couch she does a small hop skip. "Yes, very unsatisfying and not to be changed at all. While dialogue is a part of life sometimes in life dialogue is lost to humans and narration is all that's left." Sat again she sips her tea and smells the delicious scents of the meal she's cooking and relaxes for she knows that even if life is bad now one day it will be good again. "Any tense will do, but we live in the here and now, while the past must never be forgotten and is intertwined with the present as is the future, the past should not dominate the present and ruin the future. For who knows what tomorrow will bring."

Tomorrow became today and the now is as grey as the sky the little mouse looks at through the double doors while sat at the far too big dinner table in the empty house. "Life goes on," she says and sighs while drawing stick figures for a new client. "Love doesn't always bring happily ever after the way humans want it too. Sometimes it requires an effort they do not want to make. A change of heart, embracing a new idea for things to grow and blossom, but then again what does a mouse know?" And she sips her coffee while staring in the distance wishing she could be there this weekend.

("...oh yes, and in true mouse style too..." went the goblin coming away with all sorts of thoughts upon what he had just read from her, adding "...yes, I'm really enjoying writing at the moment, not that I'm writing much, more it's just conducive to a lifestyle of an odd coffee or two in the bistro then, oh and a wish with it to see both what I'm thinking myself and what I'm up against vis a vis the state of things beyond my dailylife here, yes that behind the scenes view of the world stage I mean, where it seems nothing ever happens until it all happens at once, even if in this moment everything seems so calm doesn't it, but no, oil peaked awhile back where the world trade is fast moving away from the dollar at this point...", the goblin touched in fingers in turn counting the instances, going "...how about their fanfare announcement of troupes out yet they're still deploying troupes after that, or their announcement of decreasing the liquidity too, though they're injected liquidity still, so when has a mere decrease in some action ever been tantamount to an actual change of course now, so no then, it just means more of the same but slower still ...", in fact, the goblin wondered if he wasn't kind of looking at a drunk now, one who excuses himself by saying that, whereas before he was on such strong scotch, now it's only white wine so it's clear to all that he must be sobering up by drinking on, sighing "...yes, sometimes one needs a step back a moment to a strong coffee in a bistro to take it all in and make actual sense of all their nonsense...")

"... and when it happens, it never does as envisioned," the little mouse sighs and smiles over a lesson learned the hard way. "Yes, one step back can make a world of difference in seeing the whole picture for what it really shows." The little mouse stares at her reflection in the mirror and sees nothing that wasn't there before. "How perception and love can colour vision and warps it into something that isn't there and no amounts of words can change, persuade, or alter another mind when that is set on seeing what isn't there." She shakes her head and is unhappily happy for deeds and words spoken without conscious thought that showed what was there all along but a mouse refused to see.
