"Oh, to sleep and dream only to wake up and find the dream to be true. Isn't that what all humans wish/want?" The little mouse smiles having just stuffed herself with the most delish drink she never anticipated ever getting. "No, no more dreaming. WAKE UP!" She roars at the humans while smiling nibbles on some cheese. "Sleeping away life and opportunities, that is no way of getting anywhere. Life is what you make of it, whether you chose the waking world or your blissful dream. Grab it and own it, for it is yours."

("...good thread, I'm enjoying the reads here..." went the goblin returned)

the goblin just felt that he was looking at forum that preoccupies itself with elsewhere each time, when all along the only thing that should matter to this forum is this forum, saying "...just that NN banned me straight off, and OT makes one pay, so clearly my loyalty is as you see it now, yet this forum seriously lacks any eco/political side to it, I mean we distract ourselves here with kiddie posts while ourdearmedia plays their game of anything but, where shouldn't you and I be thinking out our opinions now, and speaking out against their whatever too, rather than just fretting over which forum has more members, after all there will always be other forums with more members, they come and go then but you remain, no you're here on forumland itself for the time remaining, might as well use your time wisely upon forumland then, or else time will just laugh at you in the end..."

The little mouse smiles as she reads the Goblin's post. She agrees to a certain level with him and at the same time suffers from the same mental blight of sudden and selective blindness to what troubles human society. Want, greed, indifference, hatred, the feeding of Angst and fear by those in charge for fear of loosing their position they undermine that which they seek to keep so greedily at the same time for isn't the fear which brought them to power the one beast which will devour them whole? The little mouse shakes her head and casts a look to her right where the object of her affection, the one who opened her eyes and closed them to evil busies himself with creating a spark. "No, I'm too happy to worry Goblin. But you are right, ourdearmedia is part of the beast and humans willing guzzlers of their subjective rapports."

("...just keeping you company..." went the goblin again, adding "...recently I have been writing too much in reply to trolls on another forum but I'm getting back to livewriting now, only it seems that I need to release my b-side at times, it has it's rewards emotionally but little tangible remains for the wit it entails...", so the goblin posted a poem about his memories instead)

    memories
    how does the wretched dramaqueen
lament such inadequacy in her posts
while sifting through old thoughts unseen
    those remonstrations with her ghosts,

though those ghosts won't change their shape
where her pleading will not change the past,
she sifts thoughts upon some different fate
while clinging to that which she cannot grasp

her ghosts do not want to be there then
nor does she want them there neither
save that she keeps seeing them again
where her words will not appease her

...time to wave my wand about a bit I see...

"...why yes the mob, such a fickle creature, swinging this way and that, and so hard to see when you are caught up in it, children and grown ups alike, take this weekend when my lot rushed in asking if they could go on Facebook before they had even taken their coats off, as to my dismay it had been allowed, and also allowed by the parents of half their classmates it seems, with their children too now addicted to Farmville, being drawn back to plant crops, buying chickens and cows, all busy outdoing each other, caught up in the hysteria, with 'friendship requests' appearing every five minutes from who knows who in those shark infested waters..." Jats sips his tea, shaking his head in dismay still "...by Sunday I had had enough, after several long chats it was banned, and distraction plans put in place, and so armed with telescopic litter pickers, dayglo jackets donned, they were pushing a wheelbarrow full of bug boxes and bird boxes, various tools and litter bags along the canal, and became part of a small group of volunteers who proceeded to clean up a wild-flower meadow and woodland fringe, with the boys seeing a glimpse of the true nature of man as they shrieked with a mixture of delight and disgust at finding bags of faeces, animal and human even, amongst all the other rubbish, and was finished off with a lesson in coppicing trees shouting 'timber' as each one fell to their cut. As we marched back, looking more forward to Sunday lunch than usual, it was then that I answered their earlier questions of 'why are we doing this Dad? We are not getting paid' as they played swords with the litter pickers that they had been allowed to keep, were warm and proud, despite the cold, with their logs that they had cut stored in our rucksacks, and also a flue chimney for my log burner worth £80 tucked under my arm, given to me by one of the ladies who I discovered had been about to throw it out and just gave it to us for nowt, plus, much to the boys delight, a guided tour of her narrow boat. Yes it was then that I answered their questions, smiling and saying 'I think we did quite well out of it don't you' and Facebook was completely forgotten about..."

Dejavu liked jats more and more the more he saw of him and his family. "If the nature of man is to clean up after himself and those who are unable as opposed to unwilling to do so, I'm guessing it is the nature of woman to make sure he remembers it." he laughed, loving the apparent conflict in our nature as gardeners and wanderers. Dejavu and jats would always be on good terms as long as he didn't chop down any trees he was on good terms with, for Dejavu liked trees, and had a keen dislike for many money-grubbing choppers and loppers that liked them too.

The little mouse laughs as she strolls in to see what's been going on while she was absent and reads these latest posts. "The nature of man is to puff out his chest and growl to show his dominance, leave the cleaning up after him to women." she says and laughs some more. "Don't think women don't know how to appreciate the big silverback and let him be just that. Loving him even for it. He will protect the trees and his clan." The little mouse looks at the log burner and thinks of trees and chopping them down. "Sometimes even trees one is on good terms with have to come down, you know?" She shakes her head and sips her wine while putting another log on the fire for the night has fallen and damp creeps into the house without a fire to chase it away. "When all is in balance trees do not mind to feed a fire to warm a friend. Like mice don't mind to share their cheese with humans who need a crumb of hers." And she reminds herself to tell those who need to know to always protect that which need protecting and leave the mindless money chasing to humans who do not know what has true value.

"Everything flows and nothing stays," said Heraclitus once. The little mouse smiles as she listens to the flow life surrounding her. Watching how humans change and fluidly suit their life to their need, she realises it is human nature. Or rather nature because what doesn't bow will break. Like a tree has to sway with the wind to stay alive will a human adapt to the new and go with the flow. The rigid ones, the ones unable to change will break, their mind or even their body, for body and mind are one.

"I don't, but you know me, don't you?" laughed Dejavu, who wasn't going to say anything in reply to this, but couldn't help it now that he had.

"Who ever knows another?" The little mouse says. She stirs her cheesefondue and watches the threads coagulate when lifted out the pan. "Really know another's deepest thoughts and motive?" She shakes her head and smiles. Then she whispers, "Should one want to know all of everyone?"

"Oh, I only meant know me so far as to know I wouldn't know what you asked of me in that instance!" laughed Dejavu, adding "But about whether one should want to know all of everyone, is there a reason one shouldn't?!"

"Suggestions," says the little mouse. "are thoughts of others imposed on a mind that has no direction of its own. No borders, or even boundaries, no limits, no centre, no right, no left. The mere suggestion can spark a fire in the barren ground of the vast, empty expanse of the rudderless mind. Wild fire that cannot be contained, not steered, it will run rampant and leave destruction in its wake. Destroying what was, what could have been, what never will be the same again. But does not new growth comes after a cleansing fire?" She sighs as she watches the flames in the log burner eat away the wood, leaving behind embers and ashes. "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, and new life erupts," the little mouse whispers. "A new life filled with endless possibilities for those who dare to burn what needed to be left behind."

...this one's better, how you doing lucky you gorgeous creature...

"...that reminds me..." Jats smiles fondly at the memory that has been triggered "...on a boiling hot afternoon I asked the boys to clean my car knowing full well I would have to re-do it myself later and the lure of the hose was too much with them volunteering happily, resulting, as I knew it would, with the predictable water fight with the neighbours kids. After joining in a bit myself, I retrieved the hose to finish it off with them continuing their water fight in the neighbours garden, and they were still having great fun when I was all done, so I went into the house leaving them to it avoiding a further blasting from their soaker's. And while cooking lunch I could hear the screams and whoops of delight through the open window as they played some made up game until I called them in to eat, towelling them off one by one in the kitchen as they stood there shivering and began hearing that the game had degenerated into a little bit of show me yours and I will show you mine between the boys and the girls to which my 8 year old said earnestly 'I have never seen a vagina before...' making us all pause with baited breath for what he was going to say next, even though I was already impressed at him using the right word '...I always thought they were a hole...' he continued '... but they are not are they, they are just a slit going upwards, not sideways' at which point my older son and I looked at each other incredulously, and then we all burst out laughing. There seemed nothing else to say really. Ah bless, his first encounter with that deadliest of creature..." chuckles Jats fondly

'Deadly, but irresistible even knowing full well its dangers." The little mouse laughs and thinks of holes and pegs that fit holes, plugging them to satisfaction. "Yes Jats, boys will be boys, even when they grow up to be men."

...and so they should... a repost, discussing dreams...

"...I used to love Autumn..." laments Jats seeing the steam rising from his brew on the coffee table more clearly in the ever increasing chilliness of the little cottage by the canal with each morning that comes around now, with winter surely coming "...but now it's a double edged sword, where at least I get to play with my chainsaw then..." smiles Jats planning on slicing the rest of the dry oak up later that sits waiting in the yard with Jats having boots and fleeces on at the ready once some space has been created from thin air first by making some junk disappear "...that's the great thing about dreams..." Jats was telling the little un only last night after a nightmare had awoken him and so he snuggled under the duvet on the sofa with Jats who explained "...that sometimes while you are in the dream you suddenly start thinking 'hang on this is a dream' and then you can start changing the dream, controlling it, making it go this way and that, even changing peoples faces on the spot and doing anything one can imagine, so look out for that, and then your dreams can be anything you want them to be...and if you get scared just make me appear, right next to you, I'll always help out..." Jats re-assured him, letting him fall back to the world of his imagination in front of the tv and the fire and so the chameleon steals that moment of time forever now as it quickly passes by

The little mouse smiles as that brings a happy memory to mind. "Yes, boys will be boys even when they are the men they should be. But should they be that? I mean what society thinks a man is, or should be." The little mouse nibbles the cheese puffs she so loves. "Should the boy not at least try to stay out of the box readied for him upon birth? Break free of the chains holding him in check? Be whatever he wants to be, not only in dreams but in his daily life too?" She whacks the mole back in his hole and laughs, then says while crumbs fall on the floor unnoticed and uncared for, "Back in your hole beast! Stay within your proper place and do not venture out. Almost like in reallife, where humans are put in their proper place when they reach out to a life beyond their box."
