it would be nice. and would probably help the mods' cases too, since they generally delete whatever comment provoked the ban so as far as anyone can tell, all bannings occur for no reason whatsoever.

I am sure you are right, and I have to agree on the bans. If they left the comment there so we would know what not to do or say it would be most helpful. It could say so and so was banned for this post. Giving us some examples.
