he's a fascist matt. i'm guessing his arguement will be.... more cops equals less crime, equals better social stability, equals more productivity, equals stronger and more resilient nation.

Provided the cops are controlled, as in CONTROLLED ( brain implants ) by the government.

Otherwise having more " free will " cops would probably lead to more crime due to more internal corruption.

There's a big difference between a strong justice system and a big socialized government to manage the people, such as what you're advocating.

BULLSHIT!! im in a hurry so i dont have time to look up the statistics..
i do know 1 outta 100 americans are in jail or prison, one outta 32 are "on paper" (on parole or probation) of those the vast majority are non violent offenders, 50% of those non violent offenders wind up back in jail.

i can give the exact drug related and non violent stats when i get home if you would like.

    the point is,

    they are PRIVATIZING american jails..

imprisoning non violent and drug offenders FOR PROFIT!!

the increase in police officers has NOTHING to do with violent criminals it has to do with control of the masses and making corporations a profit..

an thats a good thing how?

Umm, yes, that's why I'm talking in teh context of a Fascist Justice system!

In a Fascist justice system you wouldn't have people thrown in prison for aggravated assault ( which is one of the most idiotic " crimes " I know ).

You'd also have more drugs legalized and taxed and rapists would face death instead of being brought back to trial and prison etc.

But promise you will make us safer, like after 09/11 and we will follow you anywhere. You don't have to prove that... when a true national disaster like Katrina happens you don't know your butt from a knot hole. But the wealthy have taken over a lot of the property owned by the poor in the gulf, I guess that's what's important.

Yeah, let's do away with protecting individual rights. We saw justice in the Gulf during Katrina, for the rich. Let's fill the streets with police there to protect the monied interests.

What? You believe in aggravated assault being a crime?

    It's AGGRAVATED.

Or are you talking about the legalization of drugs? I'm talking about marijuanna and cocaine, if they were legalized and TAXED they could be controlled MUCH better.

Prostitution should also be legalized but that's a given.

OH, OH, another " crime " that I dissagree with is instances when 5 people are thrown in for a single murder, okay yes if 5 men raped a woman and one of them killed her all five should die, but if one guy kidnaps a girl, ties her up, puts her in the trunk of his car, then drives down with 4 of his friends in the car and they don't know a girl is in the trunk yet, the guy gets out his shotgun and tells two of his friends to hold the girl up against a side of a bridge and then blows her head off and all 5 get convicted of murder, well that's just plain stupid.

The example above is actually real, cept it was 3 guys not 5.

It only took 100,000 Soviet troops to occupy, rape and control Afghanistan for 30 years.

that is of course after they took your guns..

yeah watch how the little old lady in this video is persuaded to give up her gun...

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-taU9d26wT4

also, one thing maximus fails to enter into the equation is that they are PRIVATIZING our prison system.. that means companies are building prisons FOR PROFIT... therefore the government will not repeal any laws nor will they reduce sentencing guidelines.

if they had any intentions of doing either logic would dictate that they would have done that as a solution to the jail overcrowding BEFORE they chose to go the route of privatizing the jails..

you see now they have created a whole new private economic sector of the economy ran by corporations.

we all know once the corporations have there foot in the door, that door never closes it simply swings wide ass open for more expansion...

god this country has gone to hell in a hand basket and folks are just to blind or stupid to realize its all planned and no matter who you vote for come november nothing is going to change..

Yeah in all honesty I did not know companies were BUILDING prisons.

First off, pick up a history book from like the last decade....it wasn't anywhere near 30 years...try, more like, ummm, 10 years, and the Afghanis were raping us more than we were them, figuratively speaking of course.

Russians aren't interested in arab women and there were very few Russian women in Afghanistan at any time.

ummm,,is that enough "evidence"? if not i can get more..

now i ask you, with you seeing this and assuming that you watched the video i posted a link to, how is adding 100,000 more thugs with guns on the streets to enforce laws in order to make sure corporations can see a profit from incarcerating the masses a good thing for america?

keep in mind 30 to 40% of those incarcerated are there for victimless crimes.
