i'm another bic child-safety-remover... i'm actually really good at keeping track of my lighters. of course lots of them have disappeared, but more than anyone else i know i'm able to make a lighter last until it runs out of fluid. theoretically, i don't mind spending a little extra on aesthetics, but in most cases i'll just grab what i need and not even notice the design options...
you know what... sometimes i do... just because i can. you know? i'm just like... bah, its only this much... so, why not!. then i get it, and later on... i'm like...well that was pointless..
I spent $7 tonight on a Vanilla Cinnamon chocolate fudge brownie sundae, which I only ate half. I think I normally spend little, I'm generally thrifty. But every now and again, I will spend mild amounts of stuff I don't really find to be at all necessary.
WORD. But, I would /have paid more for a bic that said something clever- than a plain white one.. At least it's less likely for someone to "accidentally" think it is theirs...50cent though,hmm- depends on how much I have on me,how much I like the design- I am a bit of a penny pincher.
On a lighter...I doubt it, because of it's predictable imminent disappearance. I just buy whatever one the shopkeeper gives me. I don't even care about the colour. I used to have a thing for Clipper lighters when I was a ganja man though.
If I saw a lighter with a shamrock or a ladybug on it and it was more expensive than a regular one, then yes I would still buy it. But mostly I just use coloured clippers.
If Bic came out with a new color or something probably, $.50 isn't that bad. I only use Bic if i have a choice and I'm trying to get a different color every time I by one.
I prefer to pay the extra few cents to get a real bic insted of the cheper lighters teh store has. I want a lighter that will work when I need fire. It's hard to fire up a bong with a magnifying glass at night.
