I think women are sexy. Skin and bones, IMO, is not attractive at all. I like a woman to have a waist. I love women that when I wrap my arms around them, there is substance. I love a woman to look healthy. If healthy is thin, cool. If healthy is think, cool. Personality, a great pair of lips and eyes to die for. That is really what I look for.

I can do chubby or maybe a little bigger, but only if they have a GREAT sense of humor and if they are fun to be around.

I think is important that you note that just because a person is overweight does not automatically mean that they are lazy and eat junk fod all day!

I don't think I am lazy at all and I eat healthy - I am however overweight.

I think its a shame that people are so quick to judge sometimes.

Possibly..(if I were single)..that's all a matter of likes, dislikes, types, and opinions.

As far as the 'judging' goes..I agree with Jemima. My mother has struggled with her weight for a while. Many other things such as genetics, hormones, thyroid problems, etc. can play a role in weight gain...even obesity. My mom isn't lazy..she's tried all kinds of techniques..but there was always a barrier that she couldn't get past. She now has the lap band, which is aiding her in a healthy weight loss.

OMG i really dont believe some peoples comments on here - how can people be so vain about what they would look like with a over weight person with them?
Surley you should get to know a person before you decide if you atchally fancy them.

Alot of the comment were made by people under 20 though so that explains alot about the youth today!

I'm older than you and I wouldn't date a fat chick either.

People that are healthy live longer lives and teach their children good habits. Being obese isn't healthy and you can't play sports with your kids (fat guy sports don't count). I work my ass off to stay active and healthy so I'm attractive, and I expect my chick to do the same.

I used to be fat and had tons of health problems related to it. Lower back pain (too much weight), acid reflux (too much fat pressing in on my stomach), and a shit cardio system because I was a tub of lard.

Being fat is about as acceptible to me as being a chain smoker. Do it if you like, but don't expect a rational person with a college education to take you seriously.

Most fat people are just lazy and drink too much anyway.

By the way, I'm talking about FAT people here, not average people. FAT in my mind is your doctor telling you that you are obese. And not temporary shit (I got fat again when I broke my leg; try excercising with that shit).

I am a size 6 not double zero and a girl. Would love to get down to a 5. but hasn`t happened yet but getting there. but some people have made some bad choices about their weight in their early years. I did and have corrected it because of a guy that I loved as a good friend. He made me realized the ass-hole I was with, wasn`t worth nothing. so because of an asshole in your life and you thought you were worth nothing or if it was your home life as a child. Parents can do a number on their children, unfortunately. And there is now couch potatoes,,,BIG TIME in this world. People don`t get off their own duffs and move their muscles,,,get oxygen to the brain. Now I know there are other things in peoples lives that cause weight problems,,,medications etc. But even then you do have to move your body,,,more than to go get more to eat, choice in foods helps.
Anyway. A chubby or fat person needs love to hel[p get over their weight problems. As a friend I would say "hey, let`s go for a walk while we visit, get some fresh air etc." sunshine does wonders for people.

Then, if in the process, I found this person to be a turn on as they found themselves on the time they were losing the weight. I would. Because we all need someone sometime---sometimes. And there are some really beautiful people out there. we just don`t take the time to know them.

it depends... looks aren't everything to me. its all 50/50. If the personality is great and they carry it well/own it I could love someone no matter how they looks...period.

When i see someone who is "fat" and i really dont like usin that word. I always tend to see something in that person that doesnt care for there health. That is always a huge turnoff. I dont expect you to be perfect but...common.

there's plenty of skinny people who don't give a hang for their health. in fact, there's many skinny people who get that way by using stimulants. why aren't they being constantly attacked? because body type is one more thing people 'like' because they're supposed to...baa,baa,baa... it's all about fads and sheeple. LMAO. So people with college educations aren't fat and don't smoke?
And fyi, being overweight isn't always a life choice. A lot of people are unable to be slim.

The instincts we are born with to survive say otherwise. The whole idea of attraction is subconsciously about reproduction. Our great ancestors learned attraction by whoever was most fit to have a baby. It's nothing to do with love or sexuality. In order for the baby to be healthy, the mother and father must be healthy, and that's why middleweight women are attractive and overweight and underweight are not.

Are you sure you are 14,,,just smiling,,,but that sure sounds about right. like I have a friend who IS pregnant and she is VERY LARGE, but this is her own fault because all she does do is lay around.

She was wanting to lose weight because she was gonna do the stomach operation to lose weight. And she had to lose weight to get the operation. She was going to the gym and working out. Guess what? she lost weight and that was kind of a "Duh" but the fact that she was moving helped.

Well, she became pregnant, we don`t know if it was because she didn`t use birth control or that it was because she had her body in action. Have an -other friend that has done the samething . But anyway, the first friend, when she found out that she was pregnant would sit down with a bowl of pudding, cereal bowl size, and have it piled with the pudding AND WHIPPED CREAM ON TOP!!!!! ok it is really none of my business but man, it made me sick to see it. I would have to leave the room.

Weird, when you do lose weight and stop eatting the "crap" that I use to eat, well, mine was proportion size, I cut down and began moving more. But I can`t eat the "sugar stuff" all that well anymore,,,It makes me soooo sick now, when I do. When I do eat it, it is a very small proportion. Just enough to get it, the "want" of the sweet stuff over with.

my point here was, survival is a part of life, and if we sometimes put as much energy into something other than food, you can tend to forget that food is not as important as you think when you are not busy doing something else other than sitting and eating .

Did I just confuse the whole world with that one!:) sorry.

You're right. But in that case, it's not being slim that's a hazard to their health. It's the drug use. I wouldn't date a druggie any more than I would date a 400-lb. man. Both are unhealthy lifestyles and are therefore unattractive to me. My boss is a nice looking man, and is quite slim. But he's an alcoholic and chain-smoker. Not appealing, IMO.

Well, there's a whole spectrum between the two extremes of "skinny" and "fat." I'm slim, but I'm not skinny. My best friend is padded or chubby, but she's not fat. I don't think that being 10-20 lbs. overweight is fat. I think that being 50 or more pounds overweight is fat.

I used to work in a medical office and now I work in the restaurant business. I realize that some conditions of serious obesity are not diet related, but I do notice on a daily basis that obese people frequently consume much more food and drink than slim people.

Last night, for example, I waited on three women who were dining together. Two of them were of average body type, and one was quite large. The two smaller women each had a small garden salad and seafood stuffed crepes for dinner. The large woman had a small garden salad and shrimp alfredo. The entree, aside from being three times as big as the crepes, is also much higher in calories due to the cream sauce and white flour. All three of them cleaned their plates. One of the smaller women skipped dessert entirely but had a cup of hot tea. The other smaller lady had a canoli, and the larger lady had profiteroles which come three to a serving. During the course of the meal, I filled the larger lady's water glass about six times.

Certain habits, like unconsciously training your stomach to hold a large volume, contributes to obesity. I cannot fathom drinking six glasses of water in 90 minutes on a cold winter's night, plus eating all that food. Portion control does make a difference!

Look at the world. Only in countries of excess are there "lots" of people who are "unable" to be slim. Not only is there an abundance of food, but there's an abundance of the wrong foods. Corn syrup is in everything from bread to canned soup. Cornstarch and white flour is used as filler and thickener. People load their children up with apple juice instead of giving them the whole fruit, and many doctors support this.

1 in 4 Americans has a weight problem. I just can't accept that this is a natural thing.

Yes i agree, someone who is as skinny as a twig is also unattractive. Sometimes its just how there body works. Still overall i just want someone with balanced health if ya know what im sayin.
