i pushed him away pretty hard! no slapping though... i try to be a pacifist
the next day i explained to him very firmly how fucked it was that he had done that, and that he should stay the hell away from me from now on as i couldn't trust myself to hold in my anger again and that was that
he emailed me through facebook a few days later all apologetic and stuff, so i reiterated that i wanted nothing more to do with him and blocked him on there...

have seen him twice since at a gig and a festival... he tried to say hi at the gig and i just looked at him with a whole lotta venom in my eyes and said 'yeah.... hi'... at the festival a few weeks later he stayed well clear of me, i think he's got the message

i could go around and tell everyone we mutually know about it and ruin his reputation and whatever, but the way i figure it, that means i'm sinking to his level. he knows how i feel about it, and if people do ask me 'hey why don't you speak to so and so anymore?' i just say 'he did something very disrespectful.. you can ask him about it' and leave it at that.. my head's held high cause i know i didn't do anything wrong... the fact he has to live his life out with low self esteem and a face full of shame is punishment enough i think!

I think his point is that he thinks it's funny to insult people for their sexuality, but it's not personal, it's a joke. A hostile joke, but it's not that he doesn't like gay people or people who are more sexually free than he is. He's just hostile in general, and finds it humorous to make people feel bad.
