If anyone is in the area check out any of the Schwagstocks... or other events held in Camp Zoe deep in the Missouri woods. They tend to have great drum circles till dawn when there is music.

It's only 2 more months until the big Paralounge regional drum gathering November 18th-20th at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL

the drum gathering happens the weekend following the Down on the Farm Festival in Quincy, FL...about an hour or so away. We'll be hearing two nights of Govt. Mule, among others while there.

philly has awesome drum circles on tuesday nights, at 1 of 2 places depending on weather,
our cuircles used to be huge & out of control, like 500+ people but then alot of idiots were there just for drigs & drinking & when we tried getting rid of the nitros & FIGHTS STARTED WE PICKED UP 7 disapeared into the woods..& ever since has been truly beautiful
we dont want it huge again so not going to post the details here but you can pm me for info if u want

Though I have never made the 350 mile trip to the Montana Kidz drumming circle in Bozeman, Montana, I believe it is a full moon friday night drum circle, the circle's epicenter lies somewhere between the local drum store and Montana State University civic center.

I have all intentions of finding a drum before I show up at a circle or start one...One day timing will work out and I'll have a drum at the full moon circle...

 

Anyone know of any in the Chicago area?
I kind of doubt it, but maybe.

I would like to know where they do circles in estonia, tallinn, would like to study more and chill with interested people, and make some musical harmony too tho the problem is that I dont know any ..

Every Wed night around midnight, there's a drum circle at the Last Concert Cafe in downtown Houston. A pretty decent jam band plays, and between sets, there's a drum circle. It varies each week how many people are there, but it's a blast.

 

i love drum circles, and go to pow wow's all the time just to listen to them and play my own drum. drums are so primitive and take you back to the beginning of time

Earth Awareness Day is our opportunity to come together as a global family and unite in our efforts to halt the environmental decline and heal the planet. Jane Tinworth, a respected healer from Devon, England, (who has been featured on a BBC special on healers of great skill and integrity) is calling forth a Global Prayer on Sunday, December 11th at 3 p.m., local time. The intent is to send healing energy to the planet, with a particular focus on the North and South Poles, as well as the Oceans. You are welcome to do this in your own unique way.
