ANY Basic Catholic site, book, or whatever will tell you Catholic doctrine is based on the Bible and Tradition....unlike some Protestant Heretics that beleive in the unbiblical teaching of "Sola Scriptura". Whose the idiot again? I seriously doubt, since you don't even know what the Church's teachings are based on, you know what polocies the church endorsed 1700 years ago. Besides that, that is your opinion, not a fact. Not true, surprise indeed. You have been wrong on every point in your pathetic post so far. Catholics believe Peter was the first pope commissioned by Christ. Even if you don't beleive that, the Catholic faith was a martyr's church for the first few centuries until Constantine recognized it as the Official religion of Rome in the third century. Get your facts straight, I am tired of these pathetic, incorrect posts by anti-catholics, it's boaring me.
What the hell are you talking about!?!? Jesus founded Christianity, he was Jewish, but he formed a new religion. The Roman Catholic Church, as we know it today, exsisted BEFORE it became legal in the third centruy. IT was a MARTY'RS CHURCH--LOOK IT UP. Historians document popes as early as the Second Century, such people as Pope Linus, for instance. The Church, of course, has changed and evolved over the course of 2000 years, but basic Christian practices then even like the literal interpretation of communion are only present in the Catholic/Orthodox Churches. IT was not called the Roman Catholic Church officially until the Great Schism in 1054, but the head of the Church up until that point was in: GUESS----ROME! Pathetic. This is simple WORLD HISTORY you take as a freshman in high school.
