I tried to read that one but it differed from the movie so much I lost interest, but I recently stole it from my mom's library so I may try to read it again. Did you see the movie? It is one of my favorites.

i saw the movie but it is very different. the first few chapters is some guy (dont think he was in the movie? could be wrong...) talking about being gay with his cousin or some shit.

i usually read at least half a book before i give up on it or finish it.

Legend of zelda and philosophy? now thats a book we can all enjoy.

I dont get a great deal of time for reading because (a) I work silly random hours (b) I waste a lot of my free time (c) I'm currently attempting to watch every single episode of star trek in something like the right order.

I'm halfway through one of Asimov's books, pebbles in the sky I think, its buried on my bed anyway.

I've got a quite respectable to-do list (IMHO) so judge me on that, these are in a rough order.

God emperor of dune, and then what ever the next one is
    Logan's run
The man in the high tower
Whatever Alistair Reynolds has been writing other than revelation space.
Blue wizard is about to die (more to own it than to read it)
Red mars (started it an never finished it)
Cats cradle and all them other books like that im supposed to have read

Great books! You hear they're making an Invisible Monsters movie?

Right now I'm still in the middle of reading a Jim Morrison biography after being side-tracked with school reading.

Love Vonnegut. I'm just finishing Cat's Cradle. Slaughterhouse is awesome.

Have you read Rant by Palahniuk? Definitely his best book.

And Lux, I need to get that book! I have been thinking about switching over to raw at least for a little bit. Though I have been known to make fun of vegans in the past....

It's a first time reading Slaughterhouse Five... so far so good. He's pretty great. I think I've read every Palahniuk book forwards and back multiple times.
