Thanks to Bush, the richest one percent of Americans needn't worry about our national debt come tax time. To put it into perspective:
My signature picture was done by the hand of Bush. An innocent civilian. I find it purely evil to not be able to look at that face and not feel some sort of pain or heart going out to innocence getting trapped in other leaders disagreements. Even more evil to allow the hand that did that to remain in office after admitting that the war in Iraq had nothing to do with Bin Laden on top of all the other lies he's committed. Bush in my opinion of course is the most EVIL president I have thus far seen in the U.S. Furthermore, our current congress is by far the most EVIL congress I have seen.
I would say Bush, but I never use the word President when talking about him.But Bush is in a class by himself,no one even comes close to being as terrible as he is.The worst in US history,NO CONTEST!!!
I'd say george w. bush, just because he's the easiest to target atm, but I agree with others on this page that LBJ and for say Reagan were terrible pressies. LBJ for using the FBI to cheat and decieve himself to be in office and that he forced America in an "un-just" war in Vietnam. And then Reagan for the watergate scandal and most of USA's "anit-drug war", and venezueala's different coups and scandals with different corporations. and also for the US for staging a coup in Argentina which resulted in a mini-genocide
Agreed, Bush is just a front man, but as Chomsky puts it, Cheney couldn't've won the election with that smile of his that makes him look like the slum lord who just evicted an elderly widow...
Nixon led the county without a clue from 68 to when he resigned a liar & crook, with no ethics or morals and a real disgrace So during the time I became voting age- there was NIxon in 68 - the WORST, Carter , really tried, but -no good. I didn't think Ford had anything to offer Regan had issues, and although ended up doing some good things he got us into big debt . Billy Clinton, although not the most moral guy, wiped out the national debt & didn't do a bad job- For some reason I liked the guy So the worst would be Tricky Dick
I think the worst president is yet to come. Whoever it is, will be the mouthpiece for those who lead us down the road to another world war. At our expense. x
all of you who voted goerge bush should resort to your history books James Buchanan was the WORST president we have ever had and hopefully will ever have. If i lived back then he would have died his second year in office. He was a indecisive old man who said that the south(traitors of the US at the time) seceding from the US is illegal but then trying to bring the traitors back through war was also illegal and he basically did nothing at all in office about it and left the decision of upcoming war to lincoln who has had one of the harshest presidencies. alot of you more than likely will disaggree wit me sayin shit like "bush is the devil, he made this country FUBAR. just remember that the reason for the bloodiest US war is because of james buchanan whos inability to avert the civil war makes him a loser
Okay, maybe James Buchanan is the worst President from the history books. The only problem with that is G. W. Bush, aka Monkeyboy, isn't in the history books yet, which is a shame. See the thing is the US survived James Buchanan and the US has survived all the other idiot presidents, before and after him, but at this point the US looks like it may not survive Monkeyboy and that puts Monkeyboy at the top of my list of worst Presidents.
George W. Bush will go down in history as the President, who held the office while we drove our nation's financial system off the cliff… Karl Denninger
Mah fellow Americans. I'd like to say that I'm proud of you, and I'm proud of America, and I know that we'll go forward from this point in time onwards. In honor, and in pride. And I know that we can feel a great togetherness tonight, knowing that I'm making $400 an hour in wages and benefits (*) even as we talk. So just curl up around the fireplace, and know that America is headed in the right direction, a direction we can be proud of. Thank you, and good night. * Current salary is $400,000/year plus benefits. That would be $200/hour based on a 2,000 hour year, excluding benefits. Benefits annually include a $50,000 expense account, a $100,000 nontaxable travel account, and $19,000 for entertainment. Retired presidents now receive a pension based on the salary of the current administration's cabinet secretaries (Executive Level I), which is $191,300 as of 2008. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/President_of_the_United_States#Salary You do the math.
But the formula is different for our current "special needs" president, who in 8 years spent 499 days on vacation -- more than any president in history. I would do the math, but I ain't no good at cipherin'.
OK, I had to do some math. If your current job gives you 4 weeks of vacation per year (that's a pretty good job, in most cases), it would take you 25 years to get the vacation time Bush took in 8 years. Nice gig.
