From experience, folks, revival-type gospel is by far the worst. Hubby turned on the radio one night when things were gettin really hot, and tuned to the first station that came in and was music. It was too wierd, especially as we had friends along for the ride that night, and here's about 500 people singing gospel on the radio. None of us missed a beat, we all kinda ignored it I guess at the time, but the discussion about it later was far out, LOL.
