You don't know much about John Kerry then. He was a Vietnam veteran who spent most of his early youth after he came home from Vietnam against that war. In Vietnam we were fighting the Viet Cong who wanted a socialist Vietnam. Not Islamic terrorists who want an Islamo-fascist regime to rule Iraq. Also unlike the Islamo-fascist terrorists of today, they didn't kidnap and behead westerners, bomb and shoot neutral Red Cross and United Nations personel or fly planes into the World Trade Centre. There is a very big difference between the two wars and Kerry knows it. Kerry knows that in Iraq we are dealing with an enemy that is totally evil, an enemy of which there can be no compromise with.
Yeah ok, well where was John Kerry when the CIA and Bush's Family was setting up and making Al Queda and The Taliban, I'll tell you where he was, he was sitting around letting it happen because he doesn't do what's right, he does what is politically smart for his career, Kerry doesn't give a shit about you and me, he cares about his money and has everything to gain from another 4 more years of Bush, if you think the elite are going to let an actual good hearted person, who will declassify the documents that the people have a right to see, and will stop putting america into these quagmires that make the oil companies rich, than look at what happened to JFK, who tried to repeal the CIA, look at His brother who was going to try and pull us out of vietnam. If somebody ever comes along and has a shot at presidency who will change things, they get taken out, it's the same as it always was. Peace and Love, Dan
Basically, what he's trying to say when he says that all faiths are true, he means that each faith is true for the people who follow it. Also, he accepts christianity, and if you pay attention, he's accepting your form. Acceptance is NOT synonymous with liking. He does accept all faiths, but doesn't agree with all of them, or like them for that matter. And that last sentence isn't all that relevant...especially considering that half of the stuff I hear you say is random excerpts from around the bible, as opposed to Jesus's actual teachings...sheesh.
Jesus teachings agree to the rest of the Bible because Jesus and God are the same and God inspired the men that wrote the Bible. Therefore, anything out of the Bible is basically Christ's teaching because he is God.
Well the Jews felt that Christ was giving them a bad name also, so they killed Him. Christ spent one third of His ministry warning people of Hell and so if Christ talk about it, I believe we need to warn people to. To put time in to religion will not save anyone giving your life to Christ will. Jesus stated that by works of righteousness no man will be saved. The bible clearly teaches that there is not even one that is righteous no not even one. The only real insurance will be found in the blood of Jesus Christ.
I know what he is trying to say. And I know double talk when I hear it, and I don't make excuse for it like others do.
We all know that there are ways to avoid the line ups. I say, first come first served. Would Ollie North have to take a number, I think not.
well, god inspires a lot of christian and gospel singers...does that mean that they speak god's words? try listening to them and follow what they say if they say something that sounds nice. by your logic, that would work.
The people in the Bible were truly inspired by God because they predicted the future with a 100% accuracy... last time I check.... people by theirselves could not do that....
oh tyvm lol he he he he that is a good one JD4U, I really needed a good laugh. man, that is rich.....100% not bad ha ha ha ha ha awesome oh, my side hurts
You don't have much to back anything up either. All religions are led by faith right? Faith is blind. There is no proof in faith. Dont get me wrong, im christian also, but I know that you can't take the bible word for word. Just playing a bit of devils advocate here.
A Christian according to? You hardly believe anything the Bible says, you hardly believe in anything even remotely Christian, so can you please explain how you feel that you can call yourself a Christian?
I thought as long as you believe christ died for your sins, and that he was the son of god then you are "allowed" to be christian. Oh yeah because im accepting of other religions I can't be a christian. Sorry I forgot that you have to be a bible beating literalist to be a christian. And you have to believe that the earth was made in seven days. God help you, please, I pity your pentacostal induced ignorance.
A Christian is a follower of Christ... Christianity is more than believing. The Bible says that even the demons believe in Christ, and tremble. It has nothing to do with religious faction verses religious faction. It has to do with the basic meaning of Christianity. I should take the theology course offered at my college so I can debate with the professor and tell him he has no clue what he is talking about. I could have pointed out things that were false about university theological courses when I was in a Christian grade school, way before attending the Pentecostal church. It would be as if my Psychology teacher tried to Pastor my church and my Pastor tried to teach Psychology. Majoring in Theology (which is not even taught by someone who is saved) doesn't mean someone is a Christian. I am majoring in Psychology, but I am not yet a Psychologist. I could become one after I have finished my schooling and become certified. Yet, until that happens, I may have learned quite a bit, but I could not claim to be one. In the same way, one cannot become a Christian until they come to know Christ and are willing to follow him. Not just knowing and believing that he exsists. There are some people who know their Bible cover to cover, and yet, they are not even saved.
The prophesies in the bible most definitely did not predict the future with a 100% accuracy. 2 Samuel 7: 5-17 There's one. It was wrong. There's plenty of others as well.
