Campbell34, I wish to know where you got your info. that the Jews had them for 50 years, because all of my research says clearly that they were handed over to the church very early on, and that the actual translation team assigned by the church did not even include one Jew! The wealthy California woman who had the copies signed a promise that she would never release them. When she died, the promise was no longer enforceable.
How do you know He did not come here to have a family? He encouraged and blessed marriage. I believe that He would have wanted to experience all of the wonders of life, and therefore would have been married, and had sex
For being only 22 years old, Sera, I want to let you know that I see a great deal of wisdom in your posts. I think that what I see, correct me if i am wrong, is that you accept people unconditionally, and do not feel the need for them to see things your way. I do not see you telling people to believe as you do, but only to accept and love each other, and not try to change them before accepting them. To me that is true love, wisdom, and spirituality. Thank you for your very intelligent and loving messages.
Jesus is the Lord. He came to save. His purpose for being here was salvation. He was born to die so that he could fulfill the second covenant. He encouraged and blessed marriage for mankind, but he wasn't just a man. He is God in the flesh. You seem to assume that he was just some prophet. He was the messiah. The promised saviour sent from Heaven.
Thank you for such a nice compliment. The way I figure, you never learn anything new with a closed mind! And I never want to stop learning.
He didn't Have to be amrried, the guys who wrote the dead sea scolls wern't married...And there is some evidence that points He studdied with them during the time He was absent from the bible...BUT there are also scrolls in the Himalayas that speak of a mediteranian boy that came the4re to study Buddism...and the time frame matches the missing of Jesus from the Bible... Mary also told the other aposles that He told her things that He did not tell the others...either she was His wife, or the had somehitng on the side possibly...
The other man to "find" one was a welder or something like that. He was not an archeologist, and ron never let any other archeologist review his findings. I am not going to believe any man who makes up such crazy stories. It's plain old common sense. It is even obvious to other christians that he has completely falsified his findings. Most resoures against ron's findings are christian sources. Do the research yourself, or are you afriad that what you have believed all this time may have just been a man taking advantage of your willingness to find proof of the bible?
That is true for you, not for me. I accept your beliefs as true for you, but I do not believe that myself.
They have already made a movie on Rons findings and a number of archeologist have seen the evidence and believe Ron was right. Ron is not showing anything now because he died about 2 or 3 years ago. But just days before Ron died he stated that what he described was the truth. Ron was not an offical archeologist. Yet I know what it is like to find something that others in the field have not. There is often a lot of pride involved. And for some it is easier to pull apart a persons find rather than acknoledge it. I had a simliar experience when I located a sunken ship. I have done the research and I'm telling you they are wrong. The Mount Sinia that Ron located is the real thing.
What the fuck does any of this have to do with world war 3, aside from the fact that religious extremists on ALL sides are likely to bring about the end of the world.
We say that WW3 will be the end times as written in the Bible.... You say the Bible isn't true... So here we our proving the Bible.
So then every thing that the Bible said would happened, that already has... that's all just coincidences? Yeah...
The "bible" is merely a book. Not all books are real, they're called "fiction". Some guy probably wrote the "bible" about some other guy and buried it in the ground, and some 2000 years (or how many ever years later) some other person found it and said "wow this book is about this guy called god and he made everything so it must be true" You know what? I'm going to write a book about my friend and bury it in the ground, and in 3xxxxxxxx years someone will find it and say "wow this book is about this guy called <insert name> and it says he created everything so it must be true". Come on people, the bible is a bunch of random writing. Ignorance or quarrels about territory/money is the cause of all war. This "bible" thing is just some book. End of story.
Well if you ever read the book like I have for the last 30 years you would realize that there is nothing random about the bible. Much of what is happening in the middle east today is all part of the bigger picture, which the bible talks about. America, Russia, Israel, Europe and a number of other nations are mentioned in the bible. The Jews are not back in Israel by accident. God's plan is coming to pass.
Ezekiel 38 will be the beginning of the end of time as we know it. I believe we have about 30 years left. When Russia tries to push the Jews out of Israel God will make His move. There is much more to the story, but that is a good starting place.
