I only really like to watch football in big tourny's. The World Cup is so exciting. Spain demolished 4-0 earlier. Great game, as was the game between Saudi Arabia and whoever they were playing. Can't remember

England all the way. Brazil vs. England final, 2-1 England... 40 years on...

I mean... it may be shown over there... over here as usual it is mental... always is...

and by the way, our reputation with football hooliganism is long outdatted, Poland and other European countries are so much worse, and the problem is increasing there, while it is dying out rapidly here... that stuff was at its hight in the 70's, scary shit happened.

i aint sayin it still dont happen, i been caught up in a few riots (obviously not intentionally) and theres some scary shit, but its massively exagerrated in the eyes of a few americans i have spoken too, and what is heard of football hooligans in the US is well over the top and doesn't happen.

Boothy your correct cct cameras and bans put a stop to a lot of football violence. But have you heard of 'Es' on the terraces. A lot of ecstacy is taken at matches could this have reduced the violence. They never mention it on the news but obviously nobody would want to admit drugs in part are due to less hooliganism.

Definately... it ain't called the love drug for nothin :)

Also, weed... I support Grimsby Town, quite bitter about losing the play-off final, but we all went to Cardiff, where a lot of poeple used the toilets for rolling up. Of course, a few used them for coke etc. but the sheer numbers of those rolling up was quite amusing. Unfortunately the vast majority drank alcohol and this probably made the afer-match trouble 10 fold worse.

    What footie team d'ya follow?

Arsenal, Barcelona, and Real Betis mostly

and a lot of the MLS matches here in the US, though they can't hold a candle to the rest of the world. I'll take what I can get, tho.
