Words Brits use that Americans don't?

    A Barrister can hold council with a judge and represent a client in a High Court, Crown Court or a Magistrates Court of Law. A solicitor cannot hold council with a judge and only advise a client on points of law and appoint a Barrister to represent a client in a Crown Court. But can represented a client in a Magistrates Court.

    How fantastic that was I was in stitches.

    Not unlike the time I was with some American soldiers I was on attachment with, and said I could do with a fag, the look on their faces was unbelievable. Until I explained to them...lol.

    A Fag, being a cigarette.

    That to will live with me and them for ever.
