Little bump here.. So, is it finished yet? looked pretty amazing

 

I'm a massive fan of mushrooms, I could talk about how sweet that is forever, but I'm gonna keep it short and say sweeeeeet
it'll be trippy with good vibes on shrooms, I wanna make one

 

This thread has inspired me. Great work,I cant wait for the pics of it when its finished.

My neighbor who gave me the stump said it was maple, so it took his word for it.

 

Hard wood, should have an interesting grain pattern.

Its not completed. Yeah I'm still working on first shaping it and then I'll touch up the surface with most likely a chisel and sand paper.

 

Smoother the better to bring out the beauty of the wood, perhaps staining of different hues for the stem and the cap.
