Yea I can certainly see where you’re coming from on this kind of sexism. But maybe you and her should see that as a blessing that she doesn’t have to deal with such an anal retentive patient like that. Most likely a patient like that would be a pain to deal with, write her a 1-star review, or try to start a malpractice case.

But on the flip side to this, I can see why in some instances a patient might want a certain doctor for unisex related healthcare. 2 years ago, my life went to shit really quick. So I sought mental health counseling, and I opted to have a female therapist rather than a male. I chose a female because I feel that being a good listener, patients, and empathy are things women are typically better at. Plus I’ve had my share of male councilors in the past and I wanted to try something different. Would that make me sexist against men and male psychologists?

humans are humans. men need to learn how to wipe their own ass.
either you're logical or you're not, either you're considerate or you're not, either you're hones or not.
none of these things have anything to do with gender.
any gender can learn how to do anything that can be learned.
the only things gender specific are directly related to child birth and infant care.

Feminism doesn’t have anything to do with the refugee crisis in Europe lol And progressing is a good thing, machinist. We are meant to progress. We wouldn’t be communicating on here if society never desired to progress.

 

Progressivism is not that innocent. You have a naive understanding. But thats the hook that makes it look appealing: "progress is good!"

The other side of the coin that progessivism neglects is there is valid reason for upholding whats been put in place before.

I’m not left or right leaning but regardless if it’s your thread or not, feminism isn’t the cause of what’s happening in Europe.

If you want to look at American history ...slavery was a part of it and the only people who had rights were straight, white men. All under the guise of the US being founded under Christian ideals. Men could even beat their wives and not be charged with a crime. Thank goodness for progressive thinking.

 

Also, much of the same could be said about progressives vs conservatives as you have said about men / women.

But you dont have any respect for right wing people. You just think they are racist outdated scum.

Progressives are a lot less open minded than they would like to think. And conseevatives are a lot more open minded than progressives would think.
